I read this non-stop! Mila is my favorite character and I love how in each book they summarize the gist of the series! Looking forward to reading more!

My 12 year old 7th grader to be is in love with this series. She reads a book in one day. Definitely recommend it to any parent that has a girly girl in their household. Another plus is that the book features middle school students as main character which I think makes it easy for readers of that age to relate to.

One does wonder, however, about "Coco Simon" as the author. My daughter also read the entire "Rainbow Magic" series with all the fairies by Daisy Meadows. I explained to my daughter that the books were being "ghost written" and that the real author's name was always in the dedication. With Simon and Schuster being the publisher, "Coco Simon" would seem an obvious ploy. There's not much history about her online. Very mysterious.
