Could Have Been the Most Monumental Thing Since Manned Space Flight to Pluto
When I took these out of the box, I was truly in awe. The green was greener than the greenest green I had ever seen. By way of background, I am a historically slow runner. 11:00 miles are routine which is why I typically run in the wee hours of the morning. The darkness contains my slothness like nothing else can. However, the one drawback to my choice of running hours is that no cars can see me and my glacial pace makes me an easy target for the random drunk guy driving home to his unhappy wife (but that’s another story). When I first ran using these lights, I turned them on whilst looking right at them. BIG MISTAKE. Remember when that eclipse happened last year and everyone between the 28th and 32nd parallels went coocoo for cocoa puffs and your local weather person had to constantly remind their viewers not to look directly at the sun for fear of burning their corneas? Well that’s precisely what I felt like. As I blinked and saw fireworks dancing in the back of my eyeballs, I became worried that I’d never see again. Thankfully, after what seemed like an eternity but in all actuality was was 3-4 seconds, the miracle of sight was restored. After such an auspicious start, I set out on my morning run. I set the light to the slow blink mode and was off. You wouldn’t think that a little light would have such an effect on your workout, but oh my word, I felt like the second coming of Roger Bannister as I nearly broke the world record for the mile run. A few days later, rehydrated, rested, and ready to go again, I decided to step it up a notch. Again, I set the light to slowly blink and away I flew. This run was even better than the prior one and after besting Alberto Salazar over 26 miles, I knew something had changed. I thought to myself: self, could it be me socks? Maybe it’s my shoes. Both have been with me for multiple prior runs so I doubted it was either. Then it dawned on me. The only thing I’d changed was the introduction of this light. Somehow, someway, the speed at which visible light was escaping the diodes was entering my body and impacting the cadence at which my legs were moving. I had read about this occurring only two other times in history and neither more recent than when Hannibal parted the Red Sea on the backs of the Huns.As I prepared to contact the NSA, KGB, NRA, USPS, and UNICEF I knew they’d be skeptical of my claims. I had to document this new reality if I was going to start making he morning talk show rounds. The last thing I would want was Phil Donahue running down the aisle calling me a liar. So I decided to test the light one final time by attempting to break the Self Transendence 3100 mile race record by completing it without stopping. The day arrived and I set my light to slowly blink, believing the blinking coincided with pores on my skin opening and closing allowing the gamma rays to penetrate my muscles at precisely the right interval. 100 meters into the 3100 miler, I was certain the record would be mine. 150 meters into it, I thought I may never stop running. And that’s when it happened. At the 162 and a half meter mark. I’ll never forget, as long as I’m living, where I was at that moment. As clear as I remember watching Neil Armstrong in that CBS studio pretending like he was bouncing on the moon as I was completing my backward handstand ascent of K2, this moment will join with other momentous moments in the pantheon of history. The light stopped blinking. I slowed, believing that my pace had now outpaced the pace of the visible spectrum of light being emitted from the light. Unfortunately, as I slowed, nothing changed. The light was now a solid green and no matter what I tried, I couldn’t change it. I attempted to depress the “button” with no success. I then tried to press down on the “button” which produced the same result. Finally, I thought, what would Macguyver do in similar circumstances? So I came up with a plan. I would now push the “button” one final time in order to fix the light. It didn’t work. I had failed. My dreams of having Oprah ask me to say those magic words of “you get a light and you get a light and everybody gets a light” would never be realized.Even after replacing the batteries and reassembling the device, I can’t get it to turn off or cycle through the modes. This product is being returned and I can only hope the replacement will have a similar effect on my running.

Awesome Awesome Awesome Lights. Checkout my video to see them in action!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These lights are absolutely amazing. I ride a scooter to and from work in NYC and I was looking for something that would help cars see me better at night. I purchased the blue lights at first, and because they worked so well I purchased another red set. Checkout my video to see these babies in action!!*I was NOT given these free. I purchased 2 different sets with my own money!

Great for improving visibility for pets
I got these to attach to my dogs' collars and harnesses, for both in the yard and out on walks at night. I was using the similar Ruffwear Beacon light, but it was getting too pricey to replace a $20 light every time one fell off in the woods or the yard. Since these come in two packs, it was much more feasible to buy multiple sets of these. I love how easy it is to install and change the batteries, very easy to attach to dog gear / backpacks / belt loops, and the power stays on consistently. I like toThis isn't enough of a "con" to take away a star, because it was predominantly my fault, but if you attach these to your dog's collar or harness, use the velcro option! I used just the clip and it was pretty easy for the dogs to rub them off when they rolled or ran through the bushes. However, when using the velcro, haven't had a problem yet! Just wanted to give other dog walkers a heads up.

Not sweatproof
I loved these lights for the simplicity they offered. Simple push button on, flash, and off. They were great until it started getting hot here in Florida. I run with these lights in the early morning, clipping them to my waistband. I can assure you they are NOT waterproof or even sweatproof. Both of my lights have now malfunctioned in less than 3 months of purchasing. The first one stopped responding to button presses and randomly turning on. The second one shut off while I was running yesterday morning. After arriving home I got the light to turn on but now it won't turn off. 36 hours later and the light is STILL on.

Keeps my dogs visible at night
Good lights for keeping my two dogs visible on nighttime walks. There is a belt clip on the back of the lights and Velcro loops which makes these very versatile. The lights can be turned on continuously or on strobe. These lights could easily clip to a backpack, belt, pet collar or lease.

Perfect for Ragnar runners
These are a bargain! The 2 lights come with batteries installed and 2 extra batteries to install later, as well as a tiny screwdriver to open the battery panel. The lights are super visible and operate and for a long time on each battery.Convenient, too. Simple to clip on and off quickly (handy for relays). Easy-to-understand controls. Best of all, so lightweight that when it was clipped to the back of my shirt collar I didn't even notice it.CONS: didn't come with free ice cream

Be safe be seen! Fantastic Set of Lights, versatile, strong lumen, good price.
I commute to work each day by cycle, the nights and mornings are now fairly dark and i wanted a set of wearable lights to add to the rear, front and helmet lights i already have. Yes i like to look like a Christmas tree! I had previously purchased another set from Amazon, they come in a larger pack, six or ten, and two didnt work which is what i expected because most of the reviews also said this! So i picked these up which whilst only two, look a lot better constructed.* These lights are changeable not chargeable battery, thats fine. They come with batterys included, with spare batterys too which is great. Ive had four weeks use probably 40 minutes a day out of them and so far theyve been fine on the first set of batterys, always on slow flashing mode.* The flashing modes are either static, very fast or fairly slow flash. I prefer slow flashing but it is just a preference.*I clip mine onto the back of my backpack as per the pictures, i always take this to work but if i was cycling somewhere without the backpack they would clip on just fine on clothing with a pocket, a belt or even a lapel. The clips are sturdy with no loss of spring tension and i remove them each day.* No damage after a months use, which is good!, the decal on the lens is starting to fade but thats because i take them off and put them in the backpack all day then once at home. It does not affect functionality.* I like to see how visible i actually am to traffic so the pictures below are from 5m and 25m roughly. As you can see they are pretty strong even near to other light sources.* Its a simple press once for static, press again for fast flash, press again for slow flash and the last press cycle is for switch off. Easy.Overall im really happy, they are little more than some of the multipack lights on amazon, comparable to some bike shop prices and a lot less than some of the big name brands like cat eye etc, however they work, they work very well and are both sturdy and visible. They arent expensive they are very good value, theres no point having ten lights when four dont work.If you want a set of lights as an addition to your main lights or even instead of then these are a good purchase, tried and tested, ill update after six months where i expect to still be using the same set!

Brilliant little safety lights for late night dog walks.
I bought this product for late night walks with the dog. Brilliant little lights. Plenty of light given off. My black dog is now visible for at least 15m or more making walks safer and more enjoyable.Lights come with spare batteries which is a fantastic little bonus!

NOT weather resistant!!!
Very bright, I used them for my dogs harnesses and they’re easy to see even from a great distance, HOWEVER, these are definitly NOT weather resistant. After just days of using them I took them out in what can only be described as a very light drizzle shower that lasted about 5minutes (honestly it was more like mist!!) and of them has broken. Iv replaced the battery to no avail so it’s obviously the internals that are broken. Really disappointed.

A light for my dog and one for me.
One for the dog and one for me to use on rural roads. When arrived clipped it onto the dogs collar. Then took him a run over the fields. It was raining at the time I should add. As usual he's under fences, into hedges and running. It stayed on. I'll emphasise here that this is NOT where I'll have it on him. Wanted to see how secure it would be in the rough. It was still daylight at this time. A couple of hours later took him on the road in the dark where it will be used for his safety and mine. Found the light very bright. Lights come with Velcro attachments. One helps it fit round my arm. So very useful and good quality product. So pleased with purchase and hopefully will keep both of us safe from speeding lunatic drivers that use roads these days.

Good and robust light
I bought these lights to use them in an Ultra OCR race that took place in Iceland mid December. The weather was quite rough with rain snow and a hail. I only used one of the two as it lasted throughout the whole race. I had a minor issue due to the amount of rain. I could not switch between the modes. After I dried the light it worked perfectly for the rest of the race. Good value for money light. Light and robust (note: i had the light attached on my backpack and i felt on it and it did not crack).Overall very satisfied with my purchase.
