Extremely Portable!!!
This is the only baby monitor (camera portion) I found that could easily plug into a USB power bank. I was looking for a baby monitor to use while dry (no power hookup) camping and this is worked perfect. It appears to be made with good quality parts but my main concern was how fast would the camera drain a USB power bank. On my first trial/test I plugged the camera into a (4 year old) 5200 mAh USB power bank and after 5 hours of use, my power bank still showed 30-50% power left.Yes, the "monitor" portion of the unit has a rechargeable battery so that it too can be cordless/wireless. I also liked that the unit ships with not only the USB power cord for the camera, but also the standard (110v) plug cord.

quality video monitor at an affordable price
The media could not be loaded. 4 month update:The monitor has done its job and caught my son in the action of climbing out of his crib. Now I feel like it’s more important than ever to have the video. Now that he’s moved to a toddler bed it’s helpful to see what he’s doing at bed time.My son is 21 months old and has been sleeping in his own room since he was 3 months old. My husband and I are old school and did not like the idea of WiFi cameras that could be hacked. In fact, we used audio only monitors until now. Lately, my son has been a wild man in his crib after we put him to bed. We are fairly certain he’s trying to climb out of his crib so we decided it was time for a video monitor to make sure he doesn’t hurt himself. I like that this monitor is not connected to WiFi and the camera must be moved manually. Overall, I‘m very impressed with the video quality. The day vision is great. The reason I took off 1 star is because the night vision gets a little blurry when he’s moving really quickly. I haven’t had it very long so I can’t speak to the durability yet but I will update the review if anything changes.

Video Baby Monitor - Great Sound, Ok Video - Camera Does Not Pan
This is a decent video baby monitor. Some things I like better than others are some things are not as great. It all depends on what you are looking for. This monitor comes with one camera. The camera plugs in or if you are traveling you can use a battery pack to plug it in. Honestly though I do not feel it lends itself to be that portable because the camera is not really on a very good stand. This to me is an item I would be using at home and I think that it's something I would leave plugged in. It does have an additional cord though that will plug into the USB of a charging bank...as well as one that plugs in.One thing I was not crazy about are the cords. They are very think but flat and not round so they get tangled easily and seem a bit thin in my opinion. I'd prefer a round cord that does not tangle so easily. The monitor is nice and I felt like the settles were all pretty easy to figure out. It's not like you will need to take the instructions out every time you want to change something. The video quality to me was so so. It was kinda choppy and not all that clear but gives you a good idea of what is going on. It's not like you are taking videos to keep it's mainly just to watch for movement. The day time mode is color and it auto switches to black and white for night vision. The night vision works well in a really dark room. One thing I liked about this one compared to others I've tried is that the sound quality is better. Like if you are using it to talk to baby your voice does not sound garbled, it's pretty clear.Overall this is a decent video baby monitor that connects sort like a cordless phone. You do not need to worry about it not working if the wifi goes out, or getting hacked. It comes already paired and you can get extra cameras. The monitor you can use plugged in or you can use the rechargeable battery that is inside. It's going to use some battery though so you really need to keep it plugged in overnight to be safe. The battery is more for when you might want to go sit out on the patio when baby is sleeping inside. One other thing is that the range is great for this thing. We have a pretty big house and I was able to get perfect connection up and down the stairs without ever having to raise the antenna. Thanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks

Does the job, no remote pan or tilt.
This is fairly similar to my summer infant monitor. It has a big viewing screen which turns on when my baby cries. This saves battery life so the monitor battery lasts longer. It can connect to multiple camera though I only have one so not sure about that feature. Its relatively easy to set up and the controls are pretty intuitive so you won't need the manual constantly. The camera doesn't seem to suck battery too fast off my power bank, I leave it plugged into the wall but my power bank would last a night or two for camping. The night vision is fine and I can see my child. It's not 4k or anything but it does the job.I don't like the camera can not remotely pan and tilt. Make sure its aimed where you want ahead of time.

Portable and Easy to Use
This is our go-to monitor, especially for travel. This is not your hi-def, panning, detailed camera. If you're looking for something simple that you can plug in and start using right away, this monitor gets the job done. It's easy to set up and can be adjusted pretty easily so you can watch your baby in pretty much any environment. Our daughter has been a great sleeper since she was born and has never had any problems, so we never needed anything extreme. This camera was great for meeting our family's needs while giving us the peace of mind we were hoping for.
