What are the dimensions of the tile racks? length, width, height, depth for tile space.

I bought this as a gift, so I cannot give measurements. However, I can say that the tile racks perfectly hold six tiles at a great angle. They are an asset to the game.

how does a rack of holding 6 tiles help you when you have to draw and retain 14 tiles at a time???

Not sure why you would be holding 14 tiles at one time. To the best of my knowledge you only can have 6 tiles at a time.
