UEi Test Instruments DTH10 Digital Thermo-Hygrometer (Pack of 2)

The instant readout of both temperature and humidity is great. The instrument is easy to use and there is not need to read any instructions, Just read what the buttons say. Its sensitive to mishandling as if you have your hand near the end where the test cell is you can through off the reading. While we could check the temperture calibration and found it dead on around the range of normal ambient temperatures, we had no way to check the absolute accuracy of the Hygrometer. Batteries last months with the instrument being used about 15 times a day 24/7. Good value, easy to use, stick it in you pocket and have it when you need it. If this one broke, I would buy another one of the same kind.

I purchased this item to check humidity and temperature for a logging operation during fire season. The humidity reacts quickly and accurately in comparison to the Department of Natural Resources equipment. Since the information provided matches theirs, I know what they will say when arriving on site. The cost is not too bad either.

Readings are within the +/- 5% range for temperature and humidity. Good but not great accuracy. Faster than lower cost models but still takes a few minutes for humidity reading to stabilize. Temperature reading on the low side. An instant read thermometer is more accurate.

I compared this to 4 other models that other contractors were using.This one took slightly longer, but was just as accurate as ones that cost 3 or 4 times as much.If your on a budget, i'd highly recommend this one.

Seems to work. You have to push the Fahrenheit button several time to get it to engage & the battery they sent with it didn't even last 30 days.

We live in a log house & need to know if our AC and heating are damaging the logs. Professionals always asked if we were watchingconditions. Now we can!! NO more worries about mold.
