Excellent Fit, Very Well Made.
Yes, rare as they are from me, it's a full * * * * * review! And I can confidently award that because I ordered four brands of knee-length compression stockings from four different Sellers in the same order. These were not the least expensive or the most. But they were definitely the best when it came to expected fit, quality of finish, overall comfort and best effect. And at £9.99 for two pairs (inc. free shipping via Amazon), they also represent very good value. As a retired Charge Nurse, I recognise the importance of compression stockings fitting correctly. So I was a little hesitant in ordering online initially. People are usually measured and fitted for them by their GP's Practice Nurse. So I was extremely happy (and relieved) when these 'Calves Kelson' brand arrived from Amazon UK Seller 'PINSHUN'. I was additionally pleased that they arrived vacuum-sealed for hygiene reasons. I've machine-washed them since (on a 30 deg C normal wash with fabric conditioner), and they came out as good as new. It's so important to get the measurements right with compression stockings. Too loose and they provide no benefit at all. Too tight and you risk reducing blood circulation in your lower legs and feet. Thankfully, from a medical point of view, these socks from 'PINSHUN' fit exactly as described. The most important measurement by far for 99% of people with leg and foot circulation problems, is measuring the thickest part of your calf. Get that part right and you're sorted!A number of reviewers have stated that these socks fitted too tightly. Whilst I can appreciate they may think that I can almost guarantee that this is rarely if ever the case. Basically, if you DON'T have to struggle to get compression stockings on... they're simply too big! And trust me, I speak as a retired charge nurse in the NHS who was responsible for measuring and fitting patients for compression stockings on a daily basis! For an ideal fit, you really have to turn them almost inside-out, and just concentrate on getting the toes in to begin with. Then slowly try to roll them over the rest of the foot to the ankle. Then pull them tight again, and work the stocking up the leg, literally an inch at a time, straightening and pulling them tight as you do so. Compared with your normal pair of socks, they SHOULD feel extremely tight from top to bottom. Finally, if you've never worn compression stockings before, they WILL feel too tight once you stand up. But that's precisely how they're supposed to feel. Basically, their job is to literally compress, i.e. squeeze all your veins, arteries and muscles together, really tightly. They may feel odd for a day or two, but what you will also notice, is that any pain from your knees down, will begin to reduce immediately. Sometimes slightly and sometimes massively. I appreciate that this is only supposed to be a review of the product, but I feel sure the additional information will be helpful to some. Especially all those who are new to wearing compression stockings. Good health to you.

Pretty good
I am a 5'6 woman with size 5-6 feet. At 52, I have slapped on a bit of timber over the last couple of years and my knees are knackered. Due to the recent arrival of my coveted Apple Watch a few weeks ago, I am walking a lot more now - 5 miles a day - every day. I've found wearing the delightful tubigrip on my legs makes a big difference to how achey I get, so I thought compression socks would be even better. I ordered the small to medium size. They are very similar to flight socks - hardcore nylon that takes a bit of swearing to get on. Once on, I thought, they were really tight and uncomfortable, but after half an hour or so, I forgot they were there and began to feel the benefits. I went out for a walk. The only problem I had was that I didn't like my toes being constricted and squeezed together. I think on a long walk, I'd end up with my poor little piggies rubbing blisters on each other. So, I've cut a few inches off the ends and made sweat bands for under my Apple Watch! I will try them again tomorrow. They're not warm, so for cold weather, you'd need your normal soft socks on top. The compression has helped my circulation - in the evenings, when I start to get cold, the first thing I usually notice is cold tootsies and calves (calfs?) - kept my blood flowing nicely when sitting this evening.Update: now done a much longer walk. With the toes cut off, they were absolutely fine - it's actually a nice feeling having them support the arches of my feet. Great calf support going up and down the hills. I'm not taking them off!

Best Compression Socks I have ever had
Really pleased with these compression socks. Have only tried them twice in my house so far but will be using them soon on a long haul flight. As with most compression socks they are fairly difficult to put on but the brightly coloured blue heel detail makes it so much easier to get the heel in the right place. They feel well made. I have large ankles and calves and am a female shoe size 7 so ordered L/XL. The socks fit me very well and are much better fit than the compression stockings recently prescribed to me by the doctor for my swollen ankles. All other compression stockings have left me in agony after a few hours. They always end up forming tight bangles around my ankle, leaving me feeling that they are in danger of stopping my circulation. So far these stocking haven't done that and are actually quite comfortable to wear. The stocking comes right up to my knee and the band at the top is not too uncomfortable on my large legs. Most importantly the stocking stays in place.

well worth the money
I waited a few weeks to leave this review as I wanted to wear and wash them several times to see how they fitted then. the fit is the same as the day I purchased them.the leg length is long which is great for me as I am tall and they are true knee length. They support the leg well and as my job is one my feet all day they have reduced the discomfit I normally feel. My ankles are no longer puffy at the end of the day

A revelation!
Well these were a revelation! I don't run anywhere if I can help it, but I do spend a lot of time standing at work and my legs ache as a result. I thought I'd try compression socks after reading some articles, and chose these as they were well reviewed and a sensible price. They arrived quickly and are so tight they are a bit of an effort to get on compare to normal socks, but wow, they are worth the effort! I am comfortable all day: no aching legs any more! You soon get used to wearing them, they come right up to your knees and they provide great support.I shall be ordering some more, I am completely won over. Recommended.

Despite this I find the socks are a great help with my circulation
As I take size 7 shoes I bought the large ladies. The feet are too big and I will order the smaller size next time. Despite this I find the socks are a great help with my circulation. I have dark blue patches on my right foot and these have become smaller and have faded. I would recommend these socks and will definitely buy again.
