Sisters are a special kind of friend
We had a paperback copy of this book when my children (sisters) were very young but it unfortunately suffered water damage. I was thrilled to find it here! I think it is an excellent book about the relationship of sisters, both realistic and playfully told and illustrated. I would recommend it to people who have daughters,

Book is excellent: used seller was not. Fair condition, not ‘Very Good’ as described
Teeth marks, bent pages, multiple stickers on the book. Not what I expected of ‘Used - Very Good’. Fair would have been more accurate.

Received as gift, now giving as gifts
We all love this book. We received it as a gift when the second was born, and the oldest loved learning what being a sister was going to mean. It celebrates how they can be different but similar in other ways and most importantly love each other. Now that the baby isn't so much of a baby anymore, the oldest still asks to read it every night. We also received "I'm a New Big Sister" when the little one was on the way. Highly recommend both books which together have helped the oldest take on the role of "big sister" as something special. Reading these books is something we look forward to every night. We even take them when we are traveling. Now when I want to take a special photo of them I just say "sisters" and they even know to smile and hug like they do at the end of this book.

Great book for sisters! I got it for my 3 years old daughter. Her little sister is 17 months now.

Beutiful Gift, great for a baby shower or a big sister little sister!
The book is great for sisters big or small and brings out the responsability side along with the adventures of being sister. Great gift for a baby shower big sister with new baby coming, alot of help to help the new family addition change.

It is always risky to buy books you have not read for others. Going on how popular it is, I can say about this book that the 3-year-old with a new baby sister to deal with has found it one of her favorites.

Sisters
As a second daughter and the grand mother of girls, I was delighted with the book . It pointed out how sisters can be different in their abilities and preferences, but alike in their love and care for each other. I plan to give it to my 7 year old granddaughter who is a second daughter and sometimes feels overshadowed by her older sister. (I remember feeling the same way...)
