I wanted to try this after hearing about it from a friend, so I jumped on the opportunity when it popped up and I'm glad I did.First of all, I've been around a lot of river and lake mud and more often than not, it smells. This Dead Sea Mud does not smell, I was really happy about that because I certainly don't want to walk around with a slightly ocean/fishy aroma.Secondly, the texture. I was expecting something grainy and rough, typical ocean/sea sandy feeling stuff. This is neither; it is so smooth that it feels like well, almost like a cream cheese cake icing. Thick, smooth, rich, and it spreads easily. It doesn't take very much of it to cover your entire face (minus the eye area) and neck with the thick layer it calls for in the directions.Third, I use mine while in a ripping hot bath so it didn't really harden the way it should for a truly deep clean. BUT, it deep cleaned anyway, leaving only a few little blackheads for me to deal with. I think if you did use it outside the bath and let it harden it would easily take care of any blackheads.I do not have oily skin, nor dry, just in the middle and I don't have big issues with acne. This was not a problem for this mask. It does say that it is good for oily skin and for acne prone skin and I believe them. I just have neither and it worked just fine for me.Lastly, after the rinse my skin felt soft, hydrated, and slightly tingly. The directions recommend using a good moisturizer after the rinse, but I wanted to know how it would feel the next day without that step, It still feels soft and smooth.This mask feels sinfully silky and is a real 'spoil yourself' treat that just happens to help out with oily or acne prone skin.

At first I was kind of disappointed bc the inner seal was broken. I emailed amazon (bc they fulfilled the order) and the next day I descovored I had gotten an email from the cofounder (or somthing g like that) asking how I like the product and to reply to the email if there were any problems. I did reply to say I had already contacted amazon.A few days later I got a replacement jar in the mail.(and another one a few days after that!)After trying it though I got to say I do like it. It does take alittle more effort then other masks to wash off, but nothing really bad.It smells like mud (oviously) but a clean mud. Not mud that's been in a lake.

Was hoping for a more 'spa' experience but perhaps you can only get that if you really go to a spa.I won't buy again, but will use it up and be all the wiser.You can't put it on thick as they say, it'll never dry. I had to leave it on much longer than they say even to get a thin layer to dry.

This smells fantastic and makes my skin feel nice and soft after I use it. I got it mainly to see if it would clear up blackheads, and I've only used it twice so far, so I'm unsure as to whether or not it works for that. Not a huge improvement so far, but I'm hoping with continued use it will work!

My sister accidently put this on my brother in laws Amazon wish list instead of hers.

Best mask I have tried. Goes on smooth. After I rinse off, my face appear clean and refreshed. Pore look smaller. Takes some if the inflammation out of my acne (appears smaller). With regular use I think it would be great.

It's okay I don't really see a difference.

i really like this stuff, doesnt dry out my skin too much
