Fits a Lowe’s bucket!
I used a knife to cut around it like you would if you were taking it off a bucket and pounded it on with a hammer. Went on fine and no leaks. Don’t forget to remove the pull tab thingy inside the spout if you plan on pouring.

You want a bucket sealed? Get this
I have to transport used motor oil for recycling and it absolutely cannot spill. I also have to have a pour spout. This sucker works, and it’s almost too good. I’m still trying to get the lid of one of my buckets and it’s nearly impossible. It definitely won’t leak once it’s snapped onto a bucket.

Sealed Tight
Once this is on a 5 gallon bucket, or whatever other size you put it on, it stays on, there's no getting it off. Pretty damn good.

fits very tightly
I was hoping to be able to take this off and on multiple times. However, the fit is so tight that if I mash it on all the way, I will have to cut the tabs to get it off again. But if you are looking for a tight fit, this is it.

Great fit
The fit is perfect for a 5 gallon bucket. It locks on nice and tight opening the twist cap is a little tricky for the first time opening it but then it's easy-to-use.

Spout does not pull out
The cap on the spout fits very loose & does not seal well.If you fold up the pull tabs on the cap to pull out the spout, the cap just slips off. So you have to reach inside the spout and pull out the spout. Very frustrating.

Opening the Top Spout
Was I having a "blonde moment"? Perhaps. It was hard figuring out how to get the spout pulled up! After staring at it for a while l noticed these little pieces of plastic that are connected to the larger round white middle. You have to break those 4 little tabs away with a pointy somethin'. THEN the 2 white handles you can pop up and THEN you can pull up the spout and twist the white cap off. I haven't GOTTEN to the putting it on the 5 gallon bucket of paint ... YET ... BUT I've got my rubber mallet (as suggested) to give it the old college try! Will update if I'm having another "blonde moment" with that. The rubber mallet should help! Some of the other reviews have helped, so hope this review helped too. I can't be THE ONLY ONE that couldn't figure that spout part out! Or was I? :^)
