Size:Mesh Bag for 1.6 Gal Fruit and wine press filter bag is made to fit the pressing tub of your EJWOX 1.6 gallon fruit press. Just insert the bag into the tub and hang the excess over the sides. Place fruit into the bag and fold over excess bag material before placing your pressing plate on top. When you apply pressure with the screw, the juice will filter out through the bag. Just empty the bag and use it over again.

innovative but you need to be careful not to use too much force
i used this press to make cheese and there's a lot to love about it. it's reasonably priced, it's small in size, it's easy to clean, it works and the cheese tasted good (stainless steel so no reactions). i made about 10 blocks of cheese since i bought it. the support and service from the seller has also been excellenthowever, you need to be careful when using it. if you press with too much force, it will break the press and it can be hard to tell that this is about to happen. the directions for the press recommend using two people, one to hold the press and the other to turn the crank. i recommend that you not do this as it's too easy to press with too much force. instead, hold the press base between your knees and turn the crank slowly. i'm guessing that if you use more than 50lb force with each hand, that you will break the pressif you're making cheese, be aware if milkfat gets on the threads of the screw that it will increase the mechanical advantage. this will make it easier to turn, will produce higher forces and make it more likely to break the press

Works great. I used it to press herbs after they were soaked so they could be used as tinctures.

Not worth the $ and requires a major workout
Not very happy. At best, it should cost 20$!The machine does the job. With some major muscle you will get The liquid out I'd say abt 95%, which is pretty efficient... again, to squeeze to crap out of it you need STRENGTH, and lots of it. Otherwise you'll leave plenty of liquid behind. The screw part that goes up and down keeps shaving black dust aka metal particles. NOT GOOD! Terrible design, can't really use in the kitchen/the countertop without hard mounting it to some surface, otherwise the machine is not stable, moves and/or tips while extracting. UGH. Sizewise it's ok for a novice or hobbyist who doesnt make more than a gallon or so. After that, it's frustrating because of the instability, the small capacity, and the fact the you feel as if you've put in a farmer's day worth of work with your arms.........Unless you're a guy, have a workshop to make your tinctures (<to mount the thing), have someone else to help and/or are not making much, I wouldn't buy or recommend and have returned the one I bought.

Great for use as Juicer
I use it as juicer, with cheese cloth bag sold separately, and it is easily the best juicer I have ever had. I have crazy stupid allergies so I have to make my own juice cause I can't drink anything store bought. For that reason, I have to make juice on a daily basis. Not only does this help me get the most possible juice out the fruit I buy, but I don't have to have running a very loud and annoying appliance. I'm sure my neighbors appreciate that last fact. This has also helped to cut down the time it takes, which I definitely appreciate.

For cheesemaking
Works very well as a cheese press. I also bought a 50lb spring with it, put the spring under the outer bowl (that has the tube attached), then you get an idea how much pressure is applied. Compressing the 50lb spring halfway gets you around 30lbs, 3/4 way 40lbs. Those numbers are mainly made up, but you can put a scale underneath and measure. Either way you get consistent pressure between presses using a spring.Otherwise press is nice, solid, easy to clean and cheap. You can build your own of course, but this comes closest to that for a little extra pocket money.

You cannot use it "out of the box" Wrenches not included
The design is horrible: the spigot should between the junction of the base and wall and not a 1/4 inch above it ( it would make the tilting unnecessary and the press could be secure on a board) the basket bottom should be above the spigot line.I did this..... Lowe's to save the day: stainless steel drain cover so to have a solid bottom full of holesI made all a bunch of spacer with a copper pipe.AND DON'T FORGET THE WRENCHES: IT COMES WITHOUT!if you are not willing to go to all this trouble make yourself a favor, don't buy it!By the way absolutely NO GOOD for pressing chesses and no almonds (or coconuts! lol) FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!!

good product
works I wouldn't say it's heavy duty and high quality but so far it's working well so it gets 5 stars from me the drain plug and basket could have been designed better

Flawed design, dropped metal shavings
A few major flaws make this a deal breaker for me.One, the spigot is too high so you can't get all your pressed juice out without tilting the unit or have half of it reabsorb into your medium. Makes for needing multiple pressings and kind of a pain in the neck. Two, first time using it I kept getting metal shavings dropping into the pressed juice. Not ok. (see photo attached).I wanted to love an affordable metal press but this is not it.
