these clips were much stronger and worked better than I expected. I just had a piece of steel bar stock rather than buying a barbell and used them on both inside the plates and on the outside

Easy to use. Been using them for about a month on my bench press bar. Seems to work perfectly.

Does the job.
The fit is tight, but that helps them do the job that I bought them for. The collar is kept in place snugly against the weights. No more spinning loose.

Works as expected
Works great on my 1 inch barbell. Comes in two pairs for extra spares. Stucks a bit when moving in and out but not bad for the price.

Listen to them, measure your bar!
Good clips, my bar's actually a few mm smaller so I had to get different ones, but that's my prob for not measuring. They'd fit if the bar were exact.

Doesn’t work for a 1 inch bar.
Good quality. They were to small and slid right off my 1 inch bar. They didn’t even attempt to hold the weights

Very small -- will work, but requires a tight squeeze
These are much smaller than the other spring clips I have, and they barely fit onto the bar. To get them on and off requires a VERY hard squeeze, and because the handle part of the clips is quite small, they're not the easiest to use.

Tight Fit -- What worked for me.
1st - clean off your bar. 2nd - Spray silicon on the bar and the clips and wipe clean. WD-40 would probably work too. The clips worked fine after this. Also leave the clips on the bar when not in use to reduce the tension of the clips over time.

At first, my husband was like what are these for but he totally loves them. They’re on his weights. I’m so glad I got them. They’re easy to put on and they look less messy he said made his weights look good!

Not sure why but they were advertised as 25mm but were way bigger than 25mm. Measured at 30mm. Absolutely useless for a 25mm dumbbell. Buyer beware!
