Agency Power (AP-RX8-170) Cat-Back Exhaust System, Titanium

I just received and installed this yesterday. Bought mine from Motorsport supply and got it extremely fast seeing as I only ordered it 4 days before it arrived. It came with the proper gasket to connect the dual resonated race pipe which replaces the Catalytic converter, as well as the springs and bolts. However, it did not come with 3 bolts to bolt it to the exhaust manifold, so if you're looking to buy one you'll need those 3 bolts and a gasket to go between the racepipe and the header, and possibly new hanger bushings if yours are old and cracked.I did not install the race pipe last night because I didn't have the bolts and gasket to connect it to the exhaust manifold. I just installed the catback portion, but goodness does it sound amazing. With my catalytic converter still on, it limited how loud it is, and I think it's about at the perfect level. Not loud enough to get you in trouble, but loud enough to make you smile and get the attention of others nearby if you want it. It also has a very deep rumble with all the cracks and pops all us car geeks love. I've had a modified stock exhaust on my current RX-8(2005 Shinka 6MT). I also had a full Racing Beat exhaust including the header on my previous RX-8. This one is hands down the best I've had, and the best I've heard bar none while still having the catalytic converter on.It took about 1 1/2 hours to install, because I put it on wrong at first. Advance warning. If you're installing this yourself, install it from the front of your car to the back. Take your old exhaust completely off. Place the hanger bushings on the new one. Install the race pipe and bolt it on, but don't tighten it all the way. Then install the midpipe. Then the rear muffler section. If you try it the reverse way then fitment will be much more difficult. It's all fairly easy to work with though as long as you can get your hanger bushings off relatively easily. If your car is higher mileage, then I'd advise getting new hanger bushing too, as they have potential to rip during the removal process. Putting them back on though is very easy as you just need to push and twist and they pop right back on.Overall extremely satisfied. Excited to install the Race Pipe when my new IGN-1A coilpacks come in from SakeBomb Garage later this month, and then put some track time into it.

This exhaust sounds awesome!!! My son cannot resist revving the engine at underpasses. It is quiet at idle but it has a really wonderful rumble when you get on it. I highly reccomend this exhaust system. My son hit a spool of wire that was laying in the road on the highway and really tore up our old exhaust. We needed to eliminate the cat so we could start pre-mixing, and this was a great solution. Thanks to Agency Power for making such a great product. Somebody needs to make an installation video for the RX8 though. Wish they made upgraded calipers. We started front to back, my son insisted on removing the plastic bumper pieces, it did make the last piece easier to install, but not sure if it is really necessary. It is getting really hard to find quality parts for our RX8, thanks Agency Power!!!!!

Extremely satisfied with the product! Everything I had hoped and more!I no longer listen to music and driving is much more enjoyable. The tone is perfect! Definitely a head turner if youre on the gas. Super loud at about 4k rpms and above but it can be driven somewhat quietly if need be.At cruising speed a normal conversation can take place inside the car without issue but phone calls can be troublesome.Item arrived as described by other reviewers.Plastic exhaust shrouds need a very small trimming... No big deal. Only thing the box doesn't contain is 3 bolts to the header connection.

Great product, good price, almost perfect direct bolt-on (the tips touch the exhaust shrouds, probably needs some trimming). Hangers all in the correct place, length is just right (tips are an inch or two further out than factory, but that was expected).My package was shipped solely with the catback installation hardware, but not the midpipe hardware (midpipe-manifold gasket, and the three bolts/nuts/washers), which is only a minor issue.If noise is not your thing, this is not the exhaust for you (at least without some silencers). According to the 'Sound Meter' app on my phone, the car is as loud at cold idle now as it was a redline on the full stock system.

I love it! Just what I was looking for, sound and feel. The company amazon ordered from also came with the hardware which I wasn’t expecting. Awesome buy!

Muffler assembly connection to mid pipe were the same size, instead of one smaller. Other than that, noticeable hp gain at high rpms, and it's loud. Below 3k rpm the sound is deep, after, racetrack loud. I have an rx8, so that ain't happening to often. Good product.

The product came in good quality. Straight from Agency power. The box it came in had holes and many rips. Theough the main item came well wrapped and protected, i didn't find any hardware that should have also came along with it. Now that i have it i can't install it right away like i want to. No Exhaust clamp, no bolts or springs, no gaskets. Nothing. (In picture there is no Plastic wraps, i removed looking for the hardware.

i love the way it sounds when i drive fast. amazing sounds! too loud and louder. with a cold air intake it will sound even more better. highly recommended.
