Calphalon 10-Piece Pots and Pans Set, Nonstick Kitchen Cookware with No-Boil Over Inserts and Stay-Cool Stainless Steel Handles, Black

We decided to order some new cookware, after our last Calphalon set finally gave out. We looked online at several, decided that new Calphalon would be a great buy, and ordered through Amazon Prime. We had the new cookware withing a couple of days, got rid of our old, and put it to use. We are thoroughly impressed by the quality of the new product. Absolute no sticking, the cookware cleans quickly, and we really appreciate the lids which really help in draining water from pasta, vegetables, etc. The skillet works perfectly, and we can use it for our favorite stir fries.This is where the compliments end.We found we were missing one of the "non-boil over liners" was missing. We searched the set, and the packaging, but no insert, so we contacted Calphalon customer service twice, attempting to obtain the missing piece to our set. Each time we were advised to pack up the set, and send it back to Amazon for replacement or refund. Why in the world would we go to the trouble of packing an entire set and return it to Amazon? The labor and shipping for this makes it absolutely insane to return an otherwise fine set of cookware. Why doesn't Calphalon keep some open stock items in inventory for just this reason? It would be much cheaper to handle missing or damaged parts.A+ for a great product; D- to F for Calphalon customer service.

I bought this set and they are wonderful nonstick and so easy to clean.

Sure, you could spend a few hundred dollars more on an All Clad set, but why bother when you get just as much value from Calphalon? The feel and aesthetic design are great and this set proves durable and tough. They are light weight, but not in a cheap way. The measurements inside of the pots are so handy. No need to pull out your measuring cups which is helpful for trying to teach a teenager to cook. No more fiddling with 2 cookware items simultaneously as the lids provide a built-in colander, eliminating the need for a separate colander when you're draining pasta. The pots and pans seem smaller than I anticipated, but I actually like it. Fits very well in my cabinet. I haven't used the boil-over inserts yet, but I feel confident that I won't be disappointed. Get this set if you like a modern looking pot set that when taken care of, will last a while.

My husband purchased this set for me and I just love this set. I have read the reviews, and it could not be further from the truth. As soon as the pan cools down, I make sure it is washed with a mild soapy hot water. I also do not use anything that could scratch the bottom. It is so simple and easy to clean up. You have to remember the pans are only as good as the cook itself. They distribute the heat well. I have not had the handle heat up on me, the no boil over lids work great. I will stand by this cookware. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. It is well worth the money.

Have wanted a Calphalon set for a long time. Amazon had this set on sale so I ordered it. Love the set, however why these manufacturers have to attach the handles with these rivets on the inside I will never know! They are a pain to clean around, I have to use a brush to clean all the food particles from these "buttons" as I like to call them. I had an old Farberware stainless steel set from years ago and they manufactured the set WITHOUT those annoying rivets on the inside.

Not only are they a nice looking set of cookware but they work very well. Just a damp towel wipe and they’re clean. I also love the over boil protectors they are cool to have and they really work. NOW THAT I HAVE HAD THEM FOR AWHILE THE COOKWARE IS VERYCHEAP SCRATCH WAY TO EASY. Even with their spoon set :(

I haven’t had this set very long but so far am very pleased. Only one minor issue is that the saucepan has two lips and the lid doesn’t go down far enough for a good seal, so it looses steam when covered so it’s not my favorite pan for making rice. BUT, I absolutely love the pan for cooking food that needs to be drained because the lid is used for draining water from the food. And, the silicone inserts to stop spillover is great. Nice weight pans with glass lids, which is what I wanted.

I have used Calpalon pans for at least 20 years. I’ve had 2 sets. I felt guilty ordering these since I only wanted my pans to look new in my new home BUT the pour spout on the side of the pod is awesome….so functional!!!!! You deserve an upgrade too. Awesome value, easily cleaned, even heat on my glass cooktop, look great in my gray and white kitchen. Perfect size set for retired couple and they stack neatly!
