Pro Set Desert Storm Trading Cards Box

Received these cards on time in a large padded envelope from Amazon. The box itself was bowed inwards and crinkled a little bit. I am unsure if this was due to the handling during shipping or the fact that they are 30 years old. The inside of the box smelled a little musty and had some water stains -- probably from humidity. The wax packs were sealed and intact. I was concerned that the cards would be bent due to the wear and tear to the box. Some of the cards do have some slight bowing BUT none of them had bent corners or indented surfaces. Once these cards are stored properly, I am sure the bend will come out and they'll lay flat. The majority of the cards are pristine looking. As for the cards themselves, I love them. We've all become accustomed to high-definition digital photographs and these, well, are not. They'll take you back in time. I was 7 years old when Desert Storm went down and it is fun to see familiar faces and read about their career prior to 2002 when I became "woke" to geopolitical affairs. I forgot all about Thatcher, for instance. That wench was hot. Drop a dime on this set. It's worth it if you're a nerd like me.

Super fun just to have even if they aren’t worth something they are a cool price of history to look at and learn.

There's information on the back of each card that tell lots of different information about the war. -Airplanes -Helicopters -Tanks -Military branches -Religions -Countries that were involved -Military leaders -World leaders And lots of other interesting facts! I enjoyed looking at the cards and learning about Desert Storm, even though my main reason for getting them, was to try and get some of them autographed. Unfortunately, some of the main people have died, are in prison, or are getting up there in age. I was able to get my General Colin Powell card autographed so that was pretty cool.

Son collected these when he was about 10. Got them for his son and they have had fun talking about the cards. Still fun to see. Great conditions

I remeber collecting these cards when I was a kid, so theres a nice element of nostalgia. Other than this I am dealing with issues that led to the cold war in College and its kind of neat seeing cards filled with facts about this subject. The cards came in perfect condition and still in their packs. I opened up 11 of the 36 packs before I came across my first double.

Nice set. I thought it would include all the cards, there are quite a few duplicates. The set was missing about 6 cards. So I will have to buy more to complete the set. Good price, fast delivery. Was in new box also.
