Duty Gloves that Get the Job Done
If you're like me, you're a bit skeptical about products bought over the internet, especially if you are unfamiliar with brands. Do your research! It's very important! This pair of Specialist gloves from Hatch are right on. I was a little scared of what they might turn out like once I recieved them, but I am very pleased so far. Do yourself a favor and make sure you can fit the MEDIUM though. I've lost weight and so my previous gloves are all loose and clumsy. These gloves are AWESOME. They're snug and feel like the functional duty/operator/shooting range glove I've been looking for. The material is alright, the stitching and design is great. I love how the stitching is hidden on the inside of the gloves, so you get a smooth sleek looking and closed off look on the outside. They feature leather grip padding on the palms where it counts and also have that on three fingers of the glove. They're very comfortable and I like the fact that I can use my smartphone touchscreen with them. I have yet to use them on the gun range, but so far I already think they'll be excellent.Durability wise, people are saying different things. In my opinion if you are the type to be rough with your belongings, don't expect these to last. If you are handling machinery with these gloves and tend to allow metal hardware to ruff them up, it's common sense, they will get ripped apart. That goes into my only gripe about them, they are pretty thin, but I think service gloves are supposed to be this way. If you are looking for a heavy duty glove try to specifically look for a thciker type glove. This doesn't mean these gloves aren't durable however.Straight up, these gloves don't keep my hands warm. I tested them on my security assignment right off the packaging in the cold. They keep them warmer than hands without gloves, but I still felt like I needed to put my hands in my pockets at times. That's the only thing I have to complain about. But these gloves aren't meant for warmth so much as they're tactical application and practical application at the gun range. I'm still very pleased with my purchase!

Great gloves!!
I’ve had these gloves for 3 or 4 years and am back to buy another pair. The gloves held up much better and longer than I expected. They fit great and I can pick up a dime when I’m wearing them and they have all the necessary dexterity needed for shooting. These gloves keep my hands surprisingly warm in the winter while shooting clays. Cant beat these gloves for they price!

Not recommended as shooting/duty gloves
Let me begin with saying that for the price, these are decent gloves and comfortable. They're probably excellent gloves for driving and if that was what they're advertised as, I'd probably give them 4 stars. However, as something labeled as a "shooting/duty" glove, I wouldn't recommend these to anyone. The synthetic leather palm is practically as thin as a condom and that's where most of the stretching occurs when flexing. I foresee the slightest puncture or cut causing the palm to tear right open when it stretches. Anyone in the police or military knows that duty gloves take a lot of abuse and while these are fairly cheap, I would expect them to be of a higher quality. Get some Mechanix gloves and cut the thumb and forefinger tips off (if you're looking for dexterity) and you'll be much happier.

I decided to try these gloves and see what they are and aren't good for. Typically wearing a medium sized glove
Being in the army, I decided to try these gloves and see what they are and aren't good for.Typically wearing a medium sized glove, these were just a tad bit larger than most medium gloves, but it wasn't anything significant to give discomfort. These gloves are actually rather soft and comfortable to wear. They'll keep your hands warm in 10 degree weather if you're slightly active (moving around) and they're decent for firing weapons. Another pro some of you may like is that these gloves are actually compatible to wear and use your smart phone (worked with my iPhone). The only reason I'm giving this product 4 stars is because it's not durable for work. If you're moving heavy equipment or for other intensive purposes, the gloves will start ripping. Like I said before, it's made of softer and thin material which makes it comfy, however do not expect it to last under strenuous work. All in all, I loved these gloves and it's really my fault for using them under heavy conditions knowing full well that they wouldn't survive

Nice, rugged, thin gloves.
I love these. They are just what I wanted: a black, thin glove for light work.I didn't want something that was too bulky. I wasn't planning on lifting cinderblocks. That's not what these are for. These are, technically, shooting gloves. I think the best shooting gloves should be make of 100% leather. These are mostly neoprene (the backs of the hands), with leather palms.I ordered mediums, and they fit perfectly.A velcro strap snugs them at the wrists. These are not made to insulate your hands from cold weather. Don't expect that.In a pinch, you could probably wear a silk liner underneath. These are not "dress" gloves, either. The appearance they give is that they are light work gloves. You won't be wearing these to a nice dinner...I have not worn these for more than a week, so I will update later if things go wrong (if they fall apart, etc.)I'm optimistic at the moment: the seem pretty well-made.

Weird Sizing
Overall the gloves are decent if you want something minimal with better than average grip. The stretchy material on the back is nice and the extra protection on the last three fingers is good. There is some touch screen ability but it's not advertised and it's not the best. These would be perfect if they were a tight fit but for me the fingers are too long which makes them nearly useless for picking up small items or using with a touch screen.I would exchange them if not for the return shipping fee.
