Turkish delight with pomegranate and pistachio

Maybe this was a bad batch, but the ones I bought in Turkey which were the exact same brand and and flavor had pistachios in them but these from Amazon had no pistachios at all and the squares were cut much bigger even though it said pomegranate and pistachio.Initially I was so excited that Amazon were selling them, and quickly ordered a few boxes, however was so disappointed that they had skimped on the nuts and made the portions so large. It was such a waste. And because there weren't any pistachios in the taste was too sweet. Much too sweet to enjoy.

I like Turkish delight--and it may have just been my taste buds, but this flavor tasted a bit more like the rose flavored than pomegranate. That was my only disappointment. There are plenty of pistachios and that was the plus, so I enjoyed the product for the most part.

I was going to buy these in Istanbul but didn't really want to add the weight to travel luggage. I was delighted to see the same brand on Amazon. They're very good and the exact same ones I took a pic of in the Istanbul airport. I love Turkish delights and these fit the bill for Christmas presents and everyone loved them.
