Since I have enjoyed many different types and levels of crafting over the years with and without children, this book is a "no fail" craft book!

Great for young people 12 and under

A real winner for the kid that says I'm bored. A couple of neat crafting ideas that actually will spark their imagination to do a bit more than the crafts listed. It can be entertainment away from electronics.

I would happily buy more of these books if made available by the author! Fun & easy crafts full of color in a beautiful, sweet book are just perfect for little & big kids.

I volunteered to teach children's arts and crafts class in our homeschool co-op again this year but also will teach one for pre-K and K kids. Last year I took over the classes mid-year so I had to wing it and plan lessons as I went. Kinda stressful. This book is a LIFESAVER! So many great ideas. It's a huge help for me in planning to teach the k and pre-k kids next year, and some of the 1st to 3rd graders will enjoy the projects too. My kids (7 and 3) looked at the book and they are looking forward to doing the many awesome projects this summer. A thousand times thank you!

My 9-year daughter loves collecting recyclable materials and turning them into crafts so I bought her this book to help give her some fresh ideas. The book is amazing! My daughter already has over a dozen projects marked in the book to make after her first time looking through it. I love how we already have most of the materials on hand to make most of the projects in the book and how the instructions and pictures are detailed enough that my daughter can easily create the crafts. Since there is such a huge variety of different projects in the book, I know it will keep my daughter's interest for years to come. It's a must-have book for crafty kids and homes!

I received an advanced copy of this book, so there was enough time to really, really go through this book and make a few projects. This isn't just another craft book for kids... This is your go to book! The book itself is stunning, the gorgeous photography and easy to follow instructions make you want to do all the crafts by yourself (kids can wait :). The craft ideas are really well thought through, there is a project idea for everyone and every occasion. From simple crafts, through wonderful process art to simple science projects - ALL with the use of recyclables that you are bound to have in your household. What I love most about this book, and there is a lot to love, is that most of the crafts have a purpose beyond just making them - it's not just about the process but the usefulness of ideas for further play - pencil holders, trinket box, mini theatre... There are just too many to count, but it is this that makes this book trully eco-conscious. You won't regret getting this book (nor will your kids).

Great book full of craft ideas to make with recycled materials. Excellent for sparking children's creativity and developing fine motor skills. 100% recommend.

Good variety of crafts, easy to do, a lot of crafts are designed to use recyclables. We have done many crafts in this book with our daughter. We own a couple of craft books but this one was our favourite.
