Makes changing oil fast with less mess
First off, let me start by saying this is a great product.I was very skeptical at first if this would leak or not. After changing out the traditional boltThe installation was very easy and straightforward. The thread quality is good and I didn't have to use much force to get it on.The overall function that this provides with how fast you can change. Your oil is amazing. Less mess means less cleanup. Also I would like to add recently. My wife had misplaced the hose and the connection piece for the drain. I contacted customer service about purchasing those parts. They immediately offered to send me some at no charge which is amazing. I would say if you're on the fence of ordering this product. Don't worry. Order it right now. Makes oil changes much faster and less cleanup

Easy of draining the oil
I am really impressed with this product. The easy of installation, the quality of it. I changed my oil on my Tacoma, drained the oil and removed the filter. Then installed the ValvoMax. Then I hooked the drainage adapter to see if the was still oil in the pan. Yes there was, more then what was dripping before I installed this. I feel more confident that most of the used oil was drained. The adapter, once installed went right into the hole in my drip pan. Great product.

Sturdy build quality, great for clearance, made in USA
I purchased this for my vehicle to make oil changes much easier. I used the Amazon compatibility tool to check (and in my case, it was accurate). It definitely makes the job easier. I have used this drain valve, the Fumoto, and a few other brands. If you have a vehicle with limited clearance (I see some other reviews pointing this out), keep in mind that other drain valves have a larger footprint and would likely not be compatible as well. Regardless, I would check for clearance: both ground clearance and around the oil pan before purchasing.Pros:- Lower installation profile than other drain plugs (it's in the shape of a bolt head)- The build quality! It's a very robust product, feels like no corners cut.- You can torque to spec because a socket can fit over it. This is something none of the protruding valve design competitors can do. Make sure you have a 24MM socket.- Does the job, makes oil changes very easy.- Made in the USACons:- It does slow down the flow of oil, but that will happen with any valveVery worth it. I will update with a long term review of this oil drain valve design.

Worth every penny
This is one of those rare, nearly perfect products you might not even know you need but can't recommend highly enough once you start using it. I've installed this on both of my current vehicles, and I previously used one on a vehicle I no longer own. In addition to the obvious purpose of the valve (making oil changes less messy), there is another specific use case where this is of great benefit that prospective buyers might consider: a difficult to access or encumbered drain plug location. I had an aftermarket skid plate on my Jeep that had a very small opening for drain plug access. It was difficult to turn a wrench or ratchet in this opening due to the limited range of motion. And if you did get the plug out the oil would shoot out inside the skid plate. I had to redirect the flow of the oil by inserting a piece of cardboard or plastic in the skid plate opening. My current F150 (V6) has a drain plug that's on the side of the oil pan, rather than the back. When the oil drains it can hit or splash onto the passenger side front wheel and brakes. Also, there's an anti-sway bar or something right behind the drain plug that obstructs you from putting a large funnel or anything next to the drain to catch or redirect the oil effectively. Lastly, but draining oil through a plastic tube you at least have the option of draining it directly into a sealable container instead of having to transfer it from an oil catch basic, which is often messy and prone to spillage.

Constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and reliability!
The ValvoMax Oil Drain Valve is constructed from high-quality materials, ensuring durability and reliability. Installation is a straightforward process, making it accessible even for those with minimal mechanical experience. However, I encountered a significant issue with this product: it extended too far from the undercarriage of my vehicle. This design flaw raised concerns about potential damage from road debris, as the valve could easily become a target for stones or other obstacles on the road. Despite this drawback, I still believe the ValvoMax Oil Drain Valve could be a worthwhile addition for others, provided that it fits properly within the clearance of their vehicle's design. It offers convenience for oil changes—just ensure that the valve does not protrude excessively, which could pose a safety hazard while driving.
