Good quality
These hats really held up! The material was good enough quality that I didn’t feel the need to paint them. I’ve worn them as a costume on two separate occasions for 8+ hours and the strap never broke. Impressive quality. Would purchase again.

Good value
Quality is ok, they didn't assemble quite as easily as I hoped they would. We used tape to make sure they stayed. Otherwise they worked fine for our project. I would buy again for the value though.

Great
High quality, easy to decorate & assemble. We have used these for many different events and they never fail. You can decorate with anything!

Snapping necks
These hats were disappointing for our preschool craft activity. They didn't slide together easily and required gluing beforehand. The elastic bands kept snapping- hurting the kids and rendering the hats useless.

Not what they seem
These are nice but very hard to put together. They definitely rip easily so be careful.

Fun craft for birthday
Got these as part DIY/part party costumes for my little one’s birthday, they were a fun craft to have. Note that while fairly straightforward to assemble, the hats will require a nimble fingered pre-teen, teen, or adult to put together. They will hold together without glue or tape but will probably be more secure long term with a little adhesion. We used craft feathers, stickers, crayons and paint to decorate them. The elastics have enough give for most adults and kids. All in all excellent value for a fun activity.

2 out of every 3 break
Headline really says it all. Unfortunately with these, you have to put them together with tape because the little tab where it should lock in, the paper is too fragile. So you have to tape it. But the kicker is that the little strings that go around the chin are only held together with a little circle of tape on either side, so i'm lucky if a handful out of the whole bag actually stays together for more than a few minutes. It's a real bummer for the kids, because every time I finally get one ready, 30 seconds later it breaks.
