Love that there is an easy to learn app to use with the game! Would be easier to see the screen with an ipad than an iphone.

While some Unlock! games are stronger than others, Heroic Adventures offers a solid selection of challenging and entertaining adventures that are well worth the investment. Whether you're a seasoned escape room fan or new to the genre, Unlock! Heroic Adventures is sure to impress.

So I've played Gloomhaven, Scythe, Terraforming Mars, Seven Wonders Duel, TIME Stories, etc. My friends and I try to buy from the "Top 100" list on Boardgamegeek. This is just a credential rant.I bought this box after looking into Unlock and EXIT, and decided to give it a whirl. Well, I was blown away. You have to download an app, which I was kind of miffed about but it's totally worth it. They include a small tutorial game too, which is just smart. All of the game options in here are just flat out clever. I'm surprised I'm the first review. I recommend it for friends, family, anybody really. There's an hour time limit so it's nice to have a thinking game that doesn't require a three hour session. Also: The game play is easy, but the thinking is complex.Note: I've also played "EXIT", a similar game type. Also good.

I really enjoyed the first two games (Sherlock and the video game one). The puzzles where nice, and when we got stuck, the hints where helpful. With the Alice one, some hints created confusion (leading to skipping key cards and jumping ahead), and at least one of the puzzles made very little sense. Overall, it was worth it for the first two games we played in the pack, and I'll get a another box set. However, I don't know if the games will have a high replay value, so will likely pass them on to someone else to try.

Bought it for a friend after I forgot his birthday. He said it was extremely fun. It is a bit of a 1 time use game would be nice if we could trade them in for a small fee

Three terrific games.It should be noted that two are an hour long and the third, and most difficult, is an hour and a half.Reading other reviews for this I have to assume that many people just didn’t get the clues, because every time we got a hint we felt silly for having missed the clues in the first place.There is a lot of outside of the box thinking required and it’s good to have people playing who all think about things from a different viewpoint.The AR features included through the free app added a lot of extra fun, and I appreciated not having to pull out a magnifying glass to find some of the hidden clues, as I have had to do in other Unlock games.Be warned that the Alice adventure requires a lot of lateral thinking and the final puzzle took us almost as long as the entire rest of the game to crack.

I love the unlock series games. Myself and a friend have purchased and played through all of these that have come out and they are so much fun! My favorite "escape room" type card games. These 3 are pretty creative and differ from the previous sets in how they play. Some of my favorites in the series so far.

Love the unlock games! Cards were wrapped and in sequential order. Challenging and fun stories. This Triple pack doesn't need any of the previous expansions or scenarios to be able to play.

I have played a different version from the Unlock series myself and really enjoyed the ones I played, so I purchase various titles and gave them to my friends for Christmas gifts.Everyone appreciate the interesting idea and once they played it they really enjoyed it. Only positive comments - and some of my friends are real critics. : )I found the games challenging and fun. Cards are well designed. The App works great.I wrote a more complete review on the adventure box that I specifically played myself but I trust this version is similar and just as good from all the positive comments. Games are challenging but interactive and fun.

We are escape room nerds and played a few in a box, this offered the best adventures as far as I'm concerned.Great quality art, prints, offers AR content as well to solve some situations. Great variety!The Sherlock Holmes story made me feel the most engaged with what I feel were the best conceived puzzles.The only problem we had was with the easiest adventure (the videogame) on which we managed to skip ahead a couple steps and then the game wasn't making sense, we had to replay from the start to correct the mistake.

First you see a missed cards, no rushing! I guess this place is for the Tutorial. Tutorial cards have been packed with the easiest game Insert coin. So no panic if you see an empty hole.It was very fun to play with all of three games! I loved the app. Just amazing idea!I'm looking forward to replay them in time (need to forget the codes lol).I will recommend Unlock! with all my pleasure!!
