We just did a 25 mile charity bike ride with our 13lb havapoo and he loved the whole ride. This is our 2nd bike basket and it is much better than our first.INSTALLATION: Easy to install. Directions aren't much and photos could be larger but it's pretty easy. Important to make screws tight so it does not rotate with usage. The lock/unlock mechanism works well - make sure you engage it.USAGE: There wasn't an obvious place to secure the provided collar retention strap, so we looped it around another strap, as it's really just a secondary prevention to any jumping out. Our little guy was super-comfy and the cinch cord was really enough to keep him in there. Pockets on side provided a place for transporting treats and water.RECOMMENDATION: angle the basket slightly upward so that a heavier dog won't sag onto the front wheel. (Ours sagged at first and was dragging on the front wheel.) . Or you could put something sturdy (metal or thick plastic) as a base to the basket if you need added strength and support for your dog.

The media could not be loaded. Love this basket! I bike about town all the time now with my morkie (12 lbs), and he loves it. The basket is safe and sturdy, and it’s very deep so I don’t worry about him falling out. There’s plenty of room to place a small, thin blanket under/around him for comfort, and there’s still easily plenty of room for my glasses case, water bottle, and even a small bag if we pick up a little something from a shop. The cell phone holder is a nice bonus and works very well holding my phone in place on the handlebar. Hubby easily installed both pieces within minutes. My bike is a standard cruiser-style. This product fully meets our needs. An all-around great buy and highly recommended.

The slide for locking the basket in place does not snap and lock securely. If you just touch the slide lock it may unlock. The possibility of a bumpy ride could release this lock causing the basket to release. I drilled a hole and installed a small screw preventing the slide from disengaging and the basket from coming off.

My 11 lb dog fits just fine in this basket. I read the reviews and decided to go with the purchase. the maximum weight is 10 lbs but its been good to me so far! Extremely easy to install.. took about 10 minutes. I use it to take my lil man to the park or grandmas house when I feel like exercising. The furthest I traveled with him was about 3 miles one way. At first my dog was scared and jumped out. then I tied a leash to my bike just in case he tried to jump again he wouldn't be able to. after a few rides he loves it and has no need to be scared. I have to put some pictures up

Was pretty good however it started to slide during biking down on the tire and caused issues with riding. This was with our cat in it and moving around. We have tightened it using the appropriate band setting they give but still seems to not be enough friction to hold the basket up above the tire.

So much YES in one product!I'm actually using this for my Segway ninebot and it's great! The phone holder was a major plus so you're getting a GREAT deal for both items. I love that the basket is removable and waterproof and has the cover, it's so great.Mind you, I installed a handlebar extender to my scooter and the basket is to the left of it because the metal that connects the extender to the scooter is in the way but this totally fine because right next to the basket is my bell. What's ALSO great, is that the cell phone holder fit between the basket! Super great and saved space.Hope this helps!

This basket has about 30 parts; I took it to a bike shop where two employees quite familiar with bike parts could not figure out how to assemble it. What's more, the buyer's guide is so filled with grammatical errors...it's as if someone did a Chinese-English Google Translate and plopped it into the brochure. And, there is a warning to wash it because of toxic order...No wonder I am having a severe allergic reaction and feel ill.

The so far I am loving this thing. I got it tonight, installed it within minutes and took a test drive with my dog and she seemed OK with it so far. But I'm sure the more we take rides the more she'll get comfortable. I stuffed the basket with a blanket and she seems to like that. It's great that we don't have to leave her behind when we go on my bike rides now. I absolutely love that it came with a phone holder, that was pretty sweet and that was also easy to install. My husband's jealous of my phone holder, which to me means its great.
