These are a nice addition to my turtle tank. Would have been five stars if I didn’t have to soak them for about four days to stop them from floating and leaching color into the water. But my turtle gets a kick out of rearranging her tank with these and that’s worth it.

Fantastic large driftwood pieces for my 55 gallon aquarium. I always boil my driftwood for 2 hours and then soak all night in a 5 gallon bucket before adding to my tank. This makes them sink easily and kills anything that may be on it (fungi, bacteria, etc). Absolutely stunning pieces that work perfectly in my aquarium.

The pieces were smaller than the palm of my hand. The pieces were underwhelming and difficult to even try to assemble into something abit more visually viable. The pieces had a lot of chips that broke off, some small and some fairly large, rendering a few pieces ‘questionable’ and inevitably, useless for my more sensitive species. Even after boiling, a few pieces of the wood had such horrific odor, we had to throw them in the garbage bin. I returned the first order and was sent a replacement; my review stands for both the original and replacement. Don’t waste your money. (24 pieces)

The wood pieces were a great addition to my 10 gallon aquarium! I bought these for a more natural look in my mollie fry and cherry shrimp tank. I got the tank a few days ago so I haven’t put any fish in there yet because I was waiting for the water to be ready. When the wood arrived I boiled it a few times before putting it in. Most of the wood sank but 1 was floating to the top, if you do order this and one of them ends up floating don’t worry if you just align the wood right and add a few rocks they should stay down. After a day my water turned kinda brown but it didn’t really affect the aquarium. Overall this was a nice purchase but if I could go back I would’ve boiled the wood more.

Beyond pleased with the size and various shapes of these! Can’t beat the price either. I boiled them on and off for a couple days, and let them soak in a bucket for a few hours. I don’t mind some tannins though, so if you do you may want to repeat the process for a couple extra days. Pictured is a 10 gallon guppy/community tank, and the darker smaller wood in the front is NOT new- the bigger, redder pieces are. The next is a 6 gallon betta jar, both pieces here are new. The last piece was a spare so I thought it looked nice by some plants in my 60 gallon. Great aquarium wood.
