Raleigh Bicycles Redux 2 City Bike

First off I did a lot of research on what bike I should get. I do a lot of aggressive riding on trails and DJ parks with my other bikes so i wanted something for the street that could not only be used to get from A to B but also have some fun on the way. I did not make a mistake choosing this bike!!! It arrived a whole week early and all the tools needed to assemble it were included and some decent pedals as well. Rode it for a few miles today. Did a mix of normal riding, some street trials and a few bmx tricks. Bike is super solid. The only thing I could say I wasn't fond of were the brakes but maybe they just need to be broken in. Anyway, Raleigh did a great job with this bike!!

Looked high & low online & locally (Las Vegas) everything came back to this bike. Wanted simplicity, durability & reliability. Had owned a Raleigh 20 years ago & not surprised that they’ve maintained their high standards since. Sizing on their website are spot on. Personal recommendation if you’re in between is to go with the smaller size. This will alllow you to raise the seat & fit a bag under the seat (recommend Amazon brand in that regard). Bike itself; 9 speed is awesome and alleviates maintenance on a 2nd derailleur (simplicity). Hydraulic disc brakes are awesome. Fat tires (not too) provide comfort on less than smooth roads/paths. I’m not a dirt rider but in unavoidable circumstances the bike performs gr8 & I’m confident in it to handle w/out concern.If you’re hedging don’t sell this bike short. Packaging is tremendous assembly is EASY be sure you have the right pump to fill the tires.

Pretty straightforward to assemble and ready to ride after pumping up the tires. I loved that everything (excluding the pump) was included. I ended up finding a small chip in the paint on the frame of the bike which disappointed me. Shortly after contacting the seller, the offered me a partial refund for the damage since it didn't merit sending the whole thing back. I've only ridden it a couple of times, but it feels solid and I am excited to put some miles on it. I'm also glad that the seller stands behind their products and is willing to go the extra mile to resolve any issues. Definitely recommend!

The value of this bike was incredible. Perfect commuter that you don’t have to worry leaving it unattended, feels like a mtb, and has a very comfortable position. This bike is killer out of the box, but a rack, tires, and fenders certainly make this bike more utilitarian.

I purchased this bike as an upright option to "run" my dog while injured for actual running. It handles great and has just the right amount of gearing to make it a good city bike. Good mid-range responsive steering. Nice 'fat' tires that help absorb shock and provide stability but still handle very well. Love that the wiring is internal - a detail I had not thought to check prior to purchase.

The bike is very light and for the price offer good quality in all the componets. To choose the right size frame use the table that come in the description of the item
