Foul Language... Definitely R
Movie is good .... the foul Language wasn't needed and the movie would have been great without it. Sex, Foul Language and/or Nudity is in most movies, not sure film makers know how to clean it up or care to... Subject matter should be what targets audience... would have loved to watch with my mom and daughter but no go ... I love Melissa McCarthy, so much talent just not a fan of her foul language

Great acting, production design, costumes, camera work, etc.
Interesting graphic-novel story with an absolutely fantastic cast. Not a great film though. I read somewhere that the shooting schedule was extremely short, which I think may account for the abrupt transitions and the feeling that there may be missing scenes - it feels rushed all the way through (NOT the individual scenes, but the overall pace of the whole movie.) It's worth watching if you are a fan of any of these actors (from the stars to the supporting actors every single performance is great) or if you like the 1970's (lots of fantastic looking sets, locations, cars & costumes) or if you are a fan of the gangster genre and want to see an interesting alternative take. But as a movie overall, it's not satisfying, it's just an interesting failure.

I cannot begin to express the deep seeded desire I have for each and everyone of you to watch this FLICK!!..... So everyone of you folks out there in Ronaland.... Where u can't (don't have to) go out among the masses.... And if you for some ungodly reason desire to, and or have too... You must protect strangers from ur cootie flem, while getting high for free on your own carbon dioxide output..... Elbow rubbing wearing ur favorite MTV gang colors over your face.... That would have WITHOUT QUESTION.... Had u shot dead by cops just 2 months ago..... MERICA!! where literally nothing makes sense.... From phonics all the way to making more money sitting home getting fat... Suddenly adding ur amazon delivery person to your christmas card list.... absolutely not regretting ordering this EPIC FLICK!!!. U NEED TO SERIOUSLY WATCH THIS. Yes even u broke essential folks..... Bet ur kicking yourself for leaving that dumb college job slinging hash now hey?!?!?! But seriously you rock!!! Hazard pay for all!!! Yet until then.... I know this wasn’t received well by the masses, but I loved it!
The cast was great, they all stretched their acting chops, I thought it was powerful. I was a single parent and worked 2 jobs, so I know that scary part, the one job I had wasn’t particularly pretty, 18 hour days, one job very professional the 2nd, I was a cocktail waitress at a upscale strip club. Not the lap dancing, friction dancing kind. This was 3 sets each girl, last set totally nude. So I understand doing what you have to do to support your child, when your ex doesn’t . I thought it was a great movie, I loved the characters. Please don’t kill this reviewer ✌🏼🤦🏼♀️ It was a while ago

An Awesome Movie With Superb Acting and Writing!
The Kitchen is an awesome movie and a great story. I loved it! Please watch it, you will not be disappointed. When I first saw the trailer, I wasn't sure if it was a comedy or not. However, I'm very happy I watched this movie. The scenery looks authentic 1970's . I loved the old cars. The plot kept me guessing. Everything about this movie was done well. The acting and writing were superb. Again this was an awesome movie! I'm going to probably watch it again. I don't understand why some reviewers gave it low ratings.
