Keyboard - kinda hard to get usto Corsair Software - A+
I am a big fan of Corsair's software more than anything so once I changed from my Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse to a Logitech g600 i was no longer able to use the software. After having 2 12 key mouses next to each other using one only for macros and looking like a complete nerd to anyone that came in my room, I ditched the scimitar pro and got this keyboard. It came as advertised and the buttons are very responsive. The MAIN reason i got this keyboard though was for the ICUE software. With it you can program any macro to any key on the keyboard. I have macros across my keyboard for gaming and the home button is programmed to switch between that profile and the regular keyboard profile making switching from typing to playing very easy. The software is actually amazing and I will stick with Corsair for this reason. Corsair's software lets you record custom macros as most other software's do but corsair has a special feature that I have not found with any other brands software. They let you set delays at random intervals between 2 points. Example i want a simple macro that presses left mouse button then presses space bar. It lets you choose if you want it to be a exact interval 500ms or you can set it to a random time between 400ms and 600ms. This is a HUGE key when macroing boring repetitive tasks while not getting picked up by any bot detection systems. With large enough of a window where it will go off randomly its impossible for devs to state with any sort of certainty that you're using a bot(unless you leave it running for a stupid amount of time). If your macro is perfectly timed down the the thousandth or even hundredth of a second that could raise red flags but if you (or a macro ) are continuously clicking within a few seconds from each other its defiantly well within the realm of humanly capable. Just in case J-Mods read this I defiantly have not used this software to macro for 100's of hours on runescape *winky face emoji* and have not gotten any sort of ban or warring for it. Only negative thing from this keyboard is it was a little difficult getting comfortable with the extra row of keys and I kept pressing the top left button while trying to hit escape. Easy fix just assign escape to that key as well and problem goes away(but reinforces bad habits :p) overall I would recommend this keyboard to anyone really I think its great even if you're not a gamer. Kind of a hefty read for a keyboard review but have not seen anything that mentioned anything about this so I thought I would lay it out hope you enjoy :)Side note: Logitech software does also allow for randomized delays but its fairly difficult to set up if you are not familiar with lua. You need to modify the lua coding to your liking and do it every time it occurs in a macro. corsair has a box that lets you add randomized delays between all events making it much more user friendly

A good buy for a good keyboard, and the best I’ve had by far
1) don’t listen to 1 star ratings saying they have problems with lights or some sort, most of the time they are probably defective lights that went defective within the time range of delivering it. (Though you may think that it is impossible or a very small chance of happening, it’s actually quite a common thing)2) this keyboard is really good for gaming. It’s comfortable, light weight, it has some good lights though could be brighter. The RGB is true to its name, you can set it to one set color like red or blue or green, etc. you can change the direction of the rainbow patterns if you’d like. And some other things.2a) if someone says that RGB doesn’t really work, like not being able to set it to one color, you can. They just didn’t look into it much.3) the wrist pad is very helpful, I don’t have to rub my wrests against the painful ledges of my table.4) I like how the keys are slightly harder to press than other keyboards so while typing, my chances of having a typo goes down a fair amount.5) it takes a little while to get used to if you are not all that accustomed to having macros on the side of the keyboard.6) all the buttons work fine, the play/pause, the sound buttons. All the keys on the keyboard itself are working just fine, had no problems so far. (And hopefully I won’t get problems for a while).7) this is the 3rd gaming keyboard I bought, and this one by far is the best one I’ve had.8) I would definitely recommend to a friend or a family member if they are into gaming and of such.

Great keyboard, tactile keys, feels great to use.
I got this product renewed. Upon delivery the spacebar key was not functioning properly, but after removing the key and messing with the switch a little bit, it works as normal.Would have liked a bit more color customisation as the keys aren't individually lit but hey, a guy can dream, right? The iCue software is great, too.The membrane keyboard feels much higher quality than I had thought. I had expected it to be sort of spongy but the keys are pretty tactile. I had used mechanical in the past but decided to go with a membrane this time around, and to be honest I actually prefer these membrane keys over the mechanical ones I used, biggest reason being the tactile feedback and, let's face it, I'd prefer not to game on a typewriter.I really like the wristrest. Using a keyboard without one puts my hands in a strange position and I much prefer being able to, well, rest my wrists on something. My only complaint is that it can be a sweat magnet and I often find myself having to wipe it off with alcohol. Same issue with the keys. The function key is in a strange position (at least compared to the laptop keypad I was using before). I ended up hitting the windows key by accident quite often but I got used to it pretty quickly.Overall, a solid board, if you're in the market for a good-quality membrane board that doesn't have the stereotypical spongy keys I'd recommend picking this up for sure.

Keys feel nice, but not what it seems
In all honesty, the pressing of the keys does feel very nice, I do wish the rest of the keyboard worked for my uses.I am a touch-typist, I've been such for 20 years and I almost never look at the keys to type, even to set my finger placement (that's what the notches on the J and F are for, after all lol). I am also a heavy PC gamer.First point I'll concede didn't even occur to me until I received the keyboard and started using it, so I'm not faulting the manufacturer, but I am pointing it out in case anyone else is like me and also hadn't thought of this while looking at the pictures - if you are like me and you are used to "reach furthest to left for Esc, tab, caps, shift, ctrl" then this keyboard will not work because you will hit the macro keys. They are set just close enough, added to that the normal keys themselves are a touch smaller than I'm used to, that I was frequently hitting G6 when I meant to hit ctrl, or G1 when I meant to hit Esc. In a raid or dungeon in an MMO with fast-paced combat, that can be the difference between death and success. Wish I'd considered that before I bought this.Second point was one I could not tell clearly enough by the pictures and it also didn't occur to me that would even be a thing - Like most keyboards, the bottom row is lower set by a touch compared to the next row with each row sloping up ever so slightly. In every other keyboard I personally have ever used, the row of F keys is still set a bit higher, but not in this one. In this one, the F keys (and thus, the esc keys) are sunk further down, which means that the row of number keys is much higher and it almost like a hurdle to access the F keys. For a standard user, this may be fine because there's seldom a time you'll use the F keys. Coders, programmers, and gamers are all much more likely to use the F keys. For the kinds of games I play, I use the F keys frequently. If it's harder for me to get to the F keys, it's harder for me to game. Really wish the pictures showed this well. And final point - THIS IS LOUD. Seriously, this is not a quiet keyboard by any stretch of the imagination. It is rather loud and winds up sounding like a machine gun going off with someone who types as fast like me, or when I'm doing some heavy gaming.Because of all these reasons, this keyboard is not for me and I hope the manufacturer considers highlighting some of these points in the description to make it more clear to the buyer. This is getting returned immediately.

Feels good, works well
I'm super pleased with this keyboard. Despite being a membrane rather than mechanical board, its keys have a nice, sharp feel that makes them very easy and fluid to type on. The RGB customization could be a lot better. It only has three lighting zones, which you can shift between customized presets or in greater detail using Corsair's iCue software, but you can still basically only pick effects for the left, middle, and right side of the keyboard. The macro keys are easy to access, but if you're like me, you might find yourself slapping the top left one instead of Escape for a while. (I just bound it to the Escape key so I'd get the same result either way while I was acclimating.) The media keys all work correctly. It's comfortable, responsive, looks decent - I really can't complain. I'm not sure if it would be worth the price of a new one, but at $40 for a refurbished item, this was definitely a worthwhile deal to me.
