Anyone that uses cast iron knows the clean up process is somewhat of a dilemma. Soap is a no-no with cast iron. This brush is specifically designed to handle the task of cleaning cast iron. The bristles are short and super stiff to scrape cooking residue out of any cast iron pan. The small brush on the end is shaped and placed perfectly to clean the area where the sides of the pan meet the bottom. Great product!

I saw other reviews about the bristles melting in heat. I have not experienced this. Not sure if people are using this to clean off bbq grills or what, but I use it specifically for my cast iron cleaning. It did not melt, and was very sturdy. I like how there are bristles both on the side and top so it is easier to scrub harder to reach places on the sides where I don't have to oddly angle my hand.

A little boxy for small pans, but perfect for flat grills. It does its job as far as cleaning. Awesome.

The bristles are not stiff enough for cast iron; The brush head will not stay on, so who needs a replacement that won't stay put either; It doesn't clean easily, so where does one store a greasy, filthy brush? Don't waste your money on this junk. Disappointing and misleading.

Exactly what I needed, much less effort is need to clean my cast iron now especially when I'm camping!
