Cardo Speaker Audio Set 45 mm

I don't own a Cardo helmet system but I wanted a decent set of helmet speakers so that I could tune into Spotify or the radio via my phone - not worried about phone calls as I ride to escape all of that! Wow! The sound quality is amazing, I paired these up with a Giveet BTI-018 2-in-1 bluetooth transmitter/receiver with a 1m male to female 3.5mm lead. The speakers are neatly installed into my helmet, the 1m lead is neatly fed through my riding jacket to an internal pocket and connected to the receiver. Connects easily to my phone via Bluetooth and works seamlessly. The only bit of faff was locating the speakers inside my helmet to correctly sit over my ears - absolutely not a design fault from Cardo at all. It took a few attempts taking the helmet on and off and trying on my glasses, and fine tuning the placement of the speakers, but now I have it spot on and couldn't be happier. Any bad reviews concerning the sound quality are 100% due to not locating the speakers appropriately. Highly recommended!

Excellent set of helmet speakers, sound quality is superb once I had found the best position, which may not be the indents in the helmet I may add! After a bit of fiddling around the swap was very straight forward. Overall, a quality set, a wee bit pricey but worth the money if you like music in your helmet!

What better sound that the standard speakers

Bought to upgrade my cardo spirit HD was hoping to have a more natural sound like a good pair of headphones but still piercing treble and a lack of bass. As someone who enjoys quality audiophile headphones these sound like a pair of £20-30 JBL or Sony not anything like the price tag of £80 they are asking. They are better than the spirit hd stock. But almost any regular headphones sound better

Really disappointed upgraded my 40mm jbls to these but id say the 40s are better! And i already had the upgraded software unlocked which is simply 3 audio profiles... Sound quality is very poor i have a constant fluttery vibration noise when playing music low-high! Will be returning asap...

These speakers are great, good range of tone s and volume. Clear sounds at low volume as well when turned up

I’ve tried allsorts of speakers and earphones in my helmet over the years but never really happy with any. Saw these and as I know JBL is a great brand I gave them a go. Super impressed!! They fit easily into my Caberg Duke and sit right where they need to. Brilliant sound quality and great volume.

Bought as a potential upgrade to the standard 40mm JBL that came with my Cardo Packtalk Edge. Did not notice a massive difference in overall volume between the two. While the sound had enhanced sub bass unfortunately it had a little too much which caused distortion in higher frequencies. When listening to songs with vocals this caused a weird warbling/ducking effect. This was too distracting for me. Unfortunately this was present no matter what mode was used in the Cardo JBL audio settings or Spotify EQ. Note i do listen to a lot off electronic music with heavy bass so if your main genre is less intense these may still meet your needs. These are slightly lighter than the standard JBL 40mm by approx. 10g not a massive difference They fit perfectly in to my helmet Shark Ridill 2 Also note the upgraded audio software is alredy included with some models of Cardo including the Edge. To check if you've already got it go to settings > audio. If you can see Sound by JBL - Audio Profiles you've already got it and the included QR code won't do anything for you. Definitely not worth £80. Returned.

This JBL is definitely much better than stock. Strong bass for bass lover although I'm not a fan. Still give 5 stars for sound quality. Sound level is also higher than stock. Having used stock and other modified headphones for long distance touring, this product is still the best. I'm using this on Cardo scala 1. Recommended.. 👍

Som muito bom. Agora tem que se atentar para o tamanho disponível para falantes no capacete. Ls2 Valiant não coube e ficou pressionando a orelha. Já um ls2 strobe parece que foi desenhado para este alto falante, mesmo o strobe sendo inferior ao valiant.
