Good Beginner Device
Good device to help out of shape people get the range of motion necessary for sit ups. I haven't used it for all the other exercises it claims to be able to do. I only use it to help assist me when doing traditional crunches/situps. With this device I can do 100 sit ups in the full range of motion taking it in intervals of 10-25 situps at a time (basically crunch my way through long commercial breaks) whereas I could barely do 10 traditional situps. Not surprising since I have it on the easiest setting it must be assisting with half the weight of my torso. I'm right about 5 ft tall and around 160-165 lbs so I'm not quite sure where the bar should land on my back or what setting I really should be using to actually getacimum effects but it works with me either scooted up all the way back or all the way forward. I definitely feel a little winded after an interval of 25 sit ups (exhale on the up) and the next day I can feel just a little bit of soreness as if I laughed at a comedy club the night before. It is extremely easy to use and does fold down very easily to slide under a bed for storage. I've had mine less than a month so will update after several months of use. I figure if it gets me to do 100 crunches 5 days a week even if it kicks the bucket for under 100 it was worth it. It is extremely quiet and doesn't make any weird squeaky noises you'd want to drown out with headphones. If you take the strokes up and down easy you could in theory make the workout more pilates like.

Actually works….. and REALLY Good!!
Got it for my wife bc she doesn’t have a strong core. She’s always had trouble with sit-ups so figured this would help out. I even took a chance and got it from Amazon Warehouse, lol. Came in perfect condition! Anyways it was already put together, and to adjusted it it’s a simple slide of a button. Too easy!!! And you can definitely tell the difference between the levels. So if you need assistance with your sit-ups, this is perfect! Can go from very easy to challenging. Also it actually does assist with push-ups too! Oh, and it’s nice and compact. Very happy with our purchase.

Good but can be flimsy
Well... This is a great total body workout assisting machine. I looked Up the videos for workouts for this, but honestly on certain workouts, this thing was obsolete. When I tried to do the hamstring workout, as my legs tried to push the machine down, the flat part flew up. This is medium weight but I think to really have it be a full body workout machine it needs to be a little heavier. It gets flimsy on some workouts!

PERFECT FOR EASING INTO EXERCISING!
I was ambivalent when i purchased this bc it was from Amazon Warehouse but it arrived in brand new condition and at a better price! Frankly, I think it was brand new! Ive been using it and it has helped me a great deal. I haven't exercised in a long time so this machine is allowing me to ease into it. Its good for my arms and my core which is something I lost after my last operation. So easy to use with no stress on my bad back. Im very happy with my purchase!

Has been great so far! Super versatile!
This has really helped me to ramp up my ab exercises and sit-ups. And it feels great on my back! Sometimes I lay on it just to get a nice stretch/back crack! I’ve also used it for my arms and leg lifts as well and it’s held up fantastically. I was worried when I saw some of the other reviews but for me, it’s been great product so far!

It’s OK for a core workout, but really only has ONE Ab exercise - a bit disappointed
I bought this gadget MOSTLY for working on my abs. Crunches make my neck hurt. This thing is pretty easy to use, and it does allow you to do crunches without the neck pain, but there is only one ab move, and I really wanted to work my upper, lower, side, etc. It is called “Core Max”, in all fairness, and has a routine for arms, booty, legs, abs. The booty thing, sitting on the rollers is VERY awkward and uncomfortable. PROS: Easy to use. Good videos on YOUTUBE “Core Max Workout Videos” with perky instructors Works different parts of your body. Makes a crunch pretty easy. Easy to adjust the height/tension, by lowering/raising the rollers. Stores flat, so you can stick it in a closet, under the bed. I didn’t want some bulky huge thing to unload at my next yard sale. CONS: Limited to 1 ab workout move Rollers are REALLY uncomfortable on my back - they dig in. Squeaky. Up and down, squeak squeak squeak. May try some WD-40, but it’s annoying. BOTTOM LINE: It’s rather pricey for what it does. Instead, I would recommend some Pilates workout equipment which will give you MUCH better results for a fraction of the cost.

Great for abs and back stretching exercises
Michael K I love this product for my abs and for back stretching exercises. e.g., knee to chest bends gives you a greater stretch. I use it before every workout and after every workout to stretch my back muscles which tighten up if I don't stretch. I am prone to lower and mid back pain and this works like a charm. Usefulness for any other body parts depends on the level of fitness of the individual, in my view - but it is worth the price for the abs and back alone. I highly recommend this product!
