Bolany 9 speed 11-50T, Great Price, and nice for them hills
I'll start with what why I purchased the Bolany 9 speed 11-50T cassett. I own a Quickie Shark Hand Cycle. In it stock trim its a good all around entry bike. For me the stock Triple ring front crank set 44-32-21T and 9 speed 11-34T cassett left me with a need for a broader ratios due to hills both down and up them. My first change was the down hill problem, could not pedal fast enough to add speed down hill. Resolved that with a 46T Front big ring. For the up hill anything over 7% grade for even a short climb required frequent stops due the arms giving up. So after some math I figured I needed to jump from 34T to at least 46T and more if I was going to go up steeper hills. So when I came across the Bolany 11-50T it got the eyebrow raise followed by the Ooh! And a very inexpensive price when you consider it came with the derailer extension.I checked with my local bike shop since they are familier with my bike to see if they thought it would be plausible to do the swap. My bike needed all new cables/chain anyway so I figured if they said yes I would order it and let them swap it incase it needed some attention I could not give it. Andthey said yes.So I ordered it. Only bummer here is the stated shipping time of 4 weeks. I was relieved when it arrived in 10 days. It arrived with the product box wrapped in foam and celaphane. The product box was slightly squished but not alarmingly so.Installation had one two challenges mostely due to the bike itself and my setup not the product itself. 1) my frome needed about 1/2mill grinding to allow the extension fit flush and secure. 2) Because the bike needs a real long chain to begin with and my 46T big ring, the 50T needs a lot of chain. This lead to a very slack chain when in the 21T front ring and in the 11-24T on the cassett. Its will shift to those but it will literally slide overitself and the shift are slow. Again this is not the products fault its just the derailers dog leg was not ment to handle such a large spread of ratios. All 11-50 work perfectly on the middle 32T and 46T front rings. So I live with it and it really is not a problem since the only time I'm in my small ring I'm looking for those big ones.My impressions after a month of riding. I am very happy with the purchase. I do 7% grades now without stopping or exploding my heart. Yes at a slow speed but doing them with a cadence in the mid 80s. Shifting when in my big or middle ring on cranks is general smooth, although sometimes take some time (again cost of the long chain on my bike). The slack chain on the Small crank ring in the smaller casasett gears has not proven to be a inconvenience, I usually swith to my middle front before getting down to those for a better cadence. Speaking of cadence, I was surprised that in middle ring that the spacing between gears 80% of the time finds the sweat spot better often only needing only one shift opposed to 2.I would recommend this for anyone looking for wider ratio spread.

So far is OK
So far the new cassette working OK. Have not yet put that many miles on it. Installation went OK. Adjustment after installation went OK. Shifting is pretty clean. I also installed new chain. Buyers need to remember that a longer chain than original equipment may be required. Probably got 80 miles on cassette and it and chain are operating well.

Waste
The media could not be loaded. No star at all. Do not buy. After just 6 miles of riding riveted pin came loose. Waste of time and money.

Worked (eventually)
I wasn't able to make this product work and bought a "Goatlink" to try and fix my fitment issue. That didn't work either. Eventually I was able to make this product work by installing the included derailer attachment backwards and on the inside of the dropouts rather than the outside where you would naturally think it would fit.Having a 52 tooth granny gear has been fantastic for those tough hill climbs laden with camp gear.

Be careful with assemble
This is a light cassete that works well. Although you need to be very careful with the assembling. The screws that hold the spokes together can be loose and damage your hub. That happened to me and I had my DT-Swiss Hub damaged by one of these screws. I recommend double-checking the tightness of those screws and use lock tight bond to avoid them getting loose with time. Otherwise, this is a good part (and much cheaper than the Shimano or SRAM similars).
