Appears to be a direct replacement for my Sony TV. Works like it should and I'm happy to have a fully functional remote control again.

Works very well
My old Sony remote stopped working,OE no longer available.So I gave this "cheap" remote a tryand I am very pleased with it's performance.It works every bit as well as the OE remote worked.It will work for your Sony much better than a universal remote.

Works, feels funny
I bought this back in 2020 as a replacement, but ended up finding to original, and haven't had to use it until now. I just had to break this one out because my niece and nephew put the original in my cup of coffee. Anyways, this works with my Sony TV. Turns the TV on and off, volume, input, etc. My only issue is that although it "looks" the same, it doesn't feel it. The weight is off, but really it's the buttons. The wheel is lower than the surrounding buttons, so I have to use my nail rather than my finger to press. It just all feels funny. And the original wheel has these stops at each arrow so it also makes it easier. Tactile and muscle memory issues mainly.
