After a tinker, it works great!
I normally wouldn't pay so much for this type of item but I am on a quest to start each day with a perfect cup of coffee. I am part of a coffee club and the owner recommended this one. He uses it in his shop. At first all grinding was too course no matter the setting. My husband had to watch YouTube videos and disassemble and reassemble it. Now it works great!

Solid grinder with an even grind
I purchased this grinder as an upgrade from a cheap flat burr grinder and am mostly using it for pour over with a Chemex. This grinder has a much more even grind than my previous grinder, with no clump of fine powder stuck to the bin when making a coarse grind. Our coffee’s flavor has much improved since we started using it. I love that every part can be replaced if it wears out, and it seems a little quieter than some other grinders. My only complaint is that it has a long power cord with no way to neatly wrap up the excess. We have it sitting directly next to a power outlet, so there’s a significant bundle of cord hanging out on our counter.Would buy again, except I won’t have to because I can just fix it!

Loving it so far.
After a few years of manually grinding, I finally broke down and bought this after reading many positive reviews and comments. I love it as well. It is fairly loud but not as loud as the circa 1992 Cuisinart grinder I used to have before it died. They've done a good job of taming the sound frequency so it isn't obnoxious. The grind quality is superb for pour over, but I have not tried coarser, or finer espresso type settings. This seems to be the lowest priced machine out there that has quality above typical consumer grade appliances. Highly recommend this one!

Great for espresso grind
We got this grinder because it was rated as the best grinder for the price to finely grind beans for espresso. So far, so good. We haven't had any problems dialing the grind for our Gaggia Classic Pro. As noted by some reviewers, it is a little slow, but I've read that it also grinds at a lower temp, so your coffee flavor is truer.

worse than my (blade) grinder
Very disappointing: Did not grind at first. No manual in the package. loose silicon ring in the box. Figured out by googling where that had to go. Then it worked, but very, very uneven particle size. Tried grinding about half a pound, no improvement. On position 11 it has fines as well as rocks (>2mm in size). Picture shows grind at position 8. Actually it is worse than the Krupps blade grinder I wanted to replace. Back to the Krupps.

Excellent, easy-to-use grinder
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this because we have a french press and an espresso machine, and our hand-grinder wasn't quite up to the task. I chose this one because it was a ceramic burr grinder with a small footprint and good reviews. We've been using the grinder daily for about two months now. It is efficient and has been easy to use so far. It grinds well for both sizes I need (I use setting 12 for espresso and 30 for french press).People complained it was loud, so I added a video with it grinding. As you can see, easy to use.

Grinds come out consistent in size/texture
I bought this based on the high reviews, and it did not disappoint. The grind is even due to the conical design (others I’ve had were mixed grind with fine and coarse on a given grind). The instructions provide guidance as to the number that should be set for different types of coffee (which I taped a mini guide to the back for quick reference).Great product.

A high quality, relatively low cost burr grinder.
Does what it’s meant to do without being overly expensive. And not excessively loud. Yes, it’s a bit messy with chaff dropping out after the catch bin is pulled. And chaff will stick to bin due to static cling. So, if you can handle a quick wipe with a damp paper towel, this is the best quality, low cost, burr grinder you can buy.
