Mounted on the back of my truck primarily to handle an 11R20 spare tire. Makes a heavy job easy. Good value for the money. Easy to install, straight forward pictorial instructions.

Haven't installed it yet but I test fit the parts, inspected the welding, and tested the jack and winch. It passed my quality control test with a perfect score. Shouldn't take more than an hour to install since it's obvious how it goes together, you would have to be a moron to screw it up. This was also the best value for the money, other ones with the same features were a lot more expensive and the cheaper ones had bad reviews. I'm sure I'll be happy with the performance, looks easy to use and only weighs 80# so I can transfer it to another truck if I need to. Bled the jack and topped it off, holding the fluid fine . This is probably the best deal you will find on a half ton crane.

Assembling Issues 1) Boat winch (cable ratchet part #4) mounting holes did not line up with the mounting holes on the boom retracted part #3 (see picture). The holes on the boat winch mounting plate were enlarged for the holes on both (boat winch & boom) to align. Also added larger washers to to insure the bolt heads did not pull through the boat winch mounting plate holes. 2) Cable hook did not fit through the slot in the boom extension had to enlarge slot for hook to pass through the slot (see picture). 3) The hydraulic jack part #7 leaked from the fill plug which the supplier replaced. Once assembled the crane performed as expected. When purchasing a new tool/equipment modifications should not be required. The modifications also void the warranty should a claim be submitted. Would research other Winch Truck Crane Pickup for future purchase.

My winch broke with less than 300 pounds being lifted.

This is built pretty well, but could use a second pulley/roller out on the end where the cable goes through. If it is raised up too high the cable rubs against the slot due to not having a second pulley or roller! The other issue is the holes are not drilled straight on the upright when swiveling, you have to raise the upper unit up to get the pin to go through when locking it into place. Other than those issues it works fine.

I mounted it in the rear of my truck bed. I made a few extra braces and bolted them to the truck for easy removal if nessasary. Welded one tab on hoist to bolt brackets too. The first thing I loaded was a heavy wood stove. No problem for the cable winch. Used the hydraulic jack for just the last inch. Loaded a V-8 engine also. Great buy. Did fabricate a few brackets but it will lift a lot, so it was not a big deal.

I use it for lifting wood. Up 3 flights.
