Disappointed in condition but essentials intact.
Arrived very quickly and shipped discreetly in a box. Condition was rather unfortunate, scuffed, marked, some boils in the plastic, and filthy as though it had been in a barn gathering dust for year(s).Won't send it back because: a) slogging this to a post office is not realistic in a sedan b) it will hold water as is. Otherwise I'd send it back and insist on a clean res that was definitely new.

Don't complain about the price, rez are expensive everywhere
Listen, I see a lot of reviews about the price and shipping. Reservoirs and their tops are always expensive and always sold separately. They always have been, I promise. This it's a fair market price and the reservoir arrives in good condition. Those complaining about dust, dirt etc I'll reiterate even if you buy this at your local hydro shop you have a 50/50 shot it looks the exact same. You need to clean it before using it regardless so I really don't get the problem.The rez works great, botanicare has been around a long time and they make good quality products.

Perfect for marine tank sump
This res is perfect as a sump for my 60 gallon reef tank! lots of space !!

did not look new, was all scratched up, and had green marks on it I,m guessing it was stored outside or something like that

***Warning*** Amazon Reselling Returns Labeled As "Item defective or doesn't work"
Amazon has started reselling returns labeled as "Item defective or doesn't work". This "Only 1 left in stock (more on the way)." item with the ASIN B0059CR39K is the item that I've returned because it was defective. This has also happened with a plasma lighter that I bought with a defective lid. I returned the the lighter, and purchased it again. They resent me the same lighter. Be careful, and always inspect items you receive.

Not blaming the company that sold this product but for 43 dollars for a plastic lid you would think it comes with the 30 dollar little plastic cover, shame on you Botonicate, you could make 20 little covers out of the big lid and it's 10 bucks more..
