i ordered this gown as it looked to be very long and a pretty ruby red.The reality does not match the sale.1. I ordered a large because the size chart compared to a siz 12-14. I've been burnt before with 8-10 being too small. This gown is "Huge"! I used to be a size 22 so I know what I'm talking about.So, remember size L=1X2. The armholes are so big that they gape open well below my ribs. Picture included. Forgive my loose skin. (If anyone needs a skin donation, I'm your gal! LOL!)Also...the armholes are two different sizes. Photo attached.3. There are no real hems. They did a simple caston edge that is already looking to unravel.4. The photo if the item is mis-leading regarding the length. I thought it was floor length or at least lower shin. I'm barely 5'4" and it just barely hit below the knees.5. The decorative rosettes are badly constructed will probably unravel with a first washing. Hell, the whole damn thing might come apart.6. The color on the ad shows a lot of very garnet red. In reality, it's a loud, bright red. The fabric does feel nice and soft. It should...it's almost see through.Some would say that you get what you pay for and I'll say that, no, I can find a gown at the local WallyWorld for the about the same price and, at the very least, the thing would be correctly hemmed!It's not worth the return shipping charge so I'll wash it and see what happens and, in all probability, I'll donate it.

I was disappointed in the color :( I ordered the green one and from the picture it looks like a darker foresty green but I got a light light limey green (pictures included). I wanted a darker one because I assumed that any light colored ones would be see through and boy was I right! This is practically clear (again, pictures included). It is larger than it's size so order a size or two down. Also, the flowered collar is very... older womanish (I don't know how to describe this any better). I have included pictures of the collar so you can see it and get a better idea. Don't get me wrong, older lady-ish is fine but just know that is what you're getting. Personally I would prefer if this didn't have all the flowery hoopla because it is a nightgown and all that extra stuff on the neckline makes it stiff and uncomfortable when you lay on your stomach at night in bed. The rest of the gown is soon lightweight and silky. It really feels like you're wearing nothing at all, it feel like silky air that embraces you when you put it on, except for that darn neckline! I don't know, overall I wear it probably once or twice every couple weeks but I might as well just sleep in the nude. I don't hate it but I don't love it. I might like it a little more if it was actually the deep green color I ordered because I could actually wear it out of my bed because I don't think it would be as sheer, and I would LOVE it if it didn't have that neckline!

Ordered a 3x so I had room to roll over in it. Tag seen in the fabric said 1x, labeling tag said 3x. Didn't bother sending it back just gave it to my 100 lb teenager but it sure would have been nice to wear what I ordered.

I was surprised when I received this order, that the nightgown is not at least ankle length. This was reported by others too, it's above knee length, so the picture is deceptive. It's a thin material, but I bought it because I knew it would be a summer nightgown for me. There really isn't a hem, it's just finished off (there is a technical name for that, I don't know what it is) The flower area is nice, a bit itchy for me, but I have sensitive skin. It is about what I thought it would be for the price, except I expected it to be longer. The seller needs to describe the length in their description of the product.

After reading the answers to the question regarding see through material, and not wanting see through, I ordered it in black. It couldn't be more see through. Buyer beware. I am very disappointed. I will never buy from this seller again. The seller answered one of the questions that gave the impression that a black gown would not be see through. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, the picture leads buyers to believe this is a long gown, not knee length.

The front decoration is sewn with what feels like wire mesh. I washed it thinking it would soften up, but it didn’t. It pokes my chest with a thousand needle like projections. If you like torture, this is the gown to sleep in.

A bit more sheer than expected. Fits ok. Was disappointed that from the picture I assumed it was full length but it only came to knees.Will I wear it? Sure.Is it comfortable? Yes.Would I buy it again? NoWould I like it more if it was longer? Yup.

This may be ok for someone who is not larger. I bought it using the size guide and it didn't fit me at all. It was much too small. I returned it not only for that reason, but I thought it was longer (the small print that I missed, said it was only 35 inches long). So just be aware this runs small and it is short. It is tricot, so it is very light, but that is not a detraction in my opinion, as I don't like heavy clothing.

I’m giving this a one at the moment because I’m in the process of a return. If I’m satisfied at the end I will gladly give 5 stars. Right now, the product was poorly made, nothing to what I expected, completely see through, not appropriate attire for around the house and certainly not comfortable enough to sleep in. Unfortunately they must have MANY returns because they have their cost built into the shipping fee. So I expect to receive reimbursement for at least one of the shipping fees for this crappy product.

The gown is a lovely colour and I like the lighter weight as I get very warm at night. The issue is the pretty ruffle work on the neckline. The fabric used to back the ruffle is very rough and itchy. After laundering I wore it to bed and less than one half hour I had to remove it. My skin was red and irritated, it is unfortunate but I would not recommend this particular style.

The material is more sheer than others I have purchased, but I paid more for those. The thread used on the patterning of the yoke is itchy. Otherwise, it fits true to size and is pretty.

I bought it. It is very, very sheer. You can see right through it. it is comfortable to sleep in. The stuff around the top is kind of busy, and a bit stiff. I am hoping it softens up with washing. I ordered a 2X, but it fits more like a XXL. I am accustomed to a 2X being really big on me.

Nice Color but the arm pit area is cut way too deep. Lady I purchased it for takes a 3X and this was so big I had to return it for an x-large. Still haven't got it replaced. Retuned it over 2 weeks ago and have heard or received nothing. Right now....not too happy.

It came when expected, was a lovely colour and fit just fine. I would order another without hesitation.
