iBall Star Wired Over The Ear Headphone Without Mic (Dark Blue and Red)

The media could not be loaded.  My kids play on Xbox and sometimes the games sounds become very noisy, so I tried various headphones that I had at home but all were too big for my kids, and finally found this Kids Headphones in Amazon and bought this for Rs.499.This iBall Diva Headphone was perfect size for my 5 yr old and the headphone can be expanded to fit older kids too.It uses the 3.5mm jack and I was able to attach it to the Xbox controller and tablet so only my kids heard the noisy game sounds and rest of my family were at peace :). But since the 3.5mm pin was a bit short, it didn't fit properly on my phone when I had the phone case on. Once I took off the case, it fit well.I tried the headphones on myself and increased the volume to the max on the volume controller provided in the chord and sound output wasn't too loud and sound was good too. Though I didn't measure the decibels, the packs mentions 85db as the max volume and kid’s safety certified which is a relief for me as I didn't want my kids to listen to sounds more than the safe limits. The sound stage was pretty okay and sounded more balanced and very decent quality of sound.The ear cushions were soft and made of quality material and had R and L mentioned. My kids initially did had the trouble where they did not see the R/L and wore it wrong and the headphones didn’t give a snug fit, I had to teach them how to use them for a good fit. Wish the headphones were made symmetrically.The build quality of the headphone was good but like any headphone the chord needs to be handled properly. The chord is rounded and thick so we didn’t face the issue of tangling.Overall this one is a very good headphone in my opinion when considering the kids aural safety, sound quality and for the price i bought.

This is really overpriced. The ear pads come out easily. The making is not that good quality. I have bought this for my son. But now I feel I could have got better earphones at this price.

The product is very flimsy and not worth even at this price. I had to get the product replaced the first time it was delivered because it was faulty and no sound was coming. Though it was replaced in a few days, again I am facing the same problem as no sound is coming from the headphones. The quality of the product is very very poor and also the headphone plug is not of standard size and is loose in most of the 3.55mm sockets.

Nice fit product for kids. But it's little fragile and outer cover is coming out within 2 months.

Well I decided to write this review because I read one in which somebody mentioned it not having a mic, well the truth is it has and probably that person received a faulty product. Sound quality is amazing specially for this price range and honestly even adults can use it if you are comfortable with comparatively small earcups. It is comfortable and headband is adjustable. The volume control works smoothly. I found the volume just like a regular headphone so I don’t think that is so suitable for kids so you may wanna look into that, but rest assured it’s a good catch at this price.

We bought this specifically for online classes. In the description it is 3 (!!!) times mentioned it has an an in-build microphone. And they even mention you can use it for the calls to grandma and grandpa and so on. But when it came today we had to find out it is simple headphone without mic. Very disappointing. For this price I would recommend buying different brand. For a simple headphone i wouldn'd pay almost 999 bucks. Otherwise the headphone has a kidfriendly design and quality seems to be okay. My daughter likes the pink one and says its comfortable to wear.Update: after couple of days, the ear pad does keep coming off on one side. We will stick it with some glue. For this price range expected better quality.

I am very happy about this purchase. My daughter is using them for her online classess and there no issues with sound and are gentle on ears as well.The only issue is not having a microphone, but they can use the tab's mic, this has not been a problem for us till now.

Edit: It does have a inline mic! Their packaging mentions that this is only for listening music so I assumed there was no mic. My mistake! For the price, this is a good buy mainly because of its attractive color for kids and the headphone volume is intentionally tuned to be a bit low which is good for kids.Long term quality needs to be checked.Older comment is kept below ...No mic. It is mentioned that it has mic on Amazon page. I am ready to pay extra money for headset with mic in exchange. Request seller to take this back and give one with mic, not exact replacement.
