Garbage. I bought this in May and have used it maybe 3-4 times and now the "natural slate" is starting to peel off of one of the tiles?? It looks as if it is a laminate. Other than that, it's made of really thin metal; it looks and feels cheap. I have forgotten to put the rain cover on a few times and now the burn pan is completely covered with rust. I doubt this will hold up for even 1 year. Definitely not worth the money.

Good quality and packaged well!
When I ordered this I was concerned the tiles would crack in shipping, but well made and well packaged that all arrived safe and sound. Assembly was fairly easy and seems like good strong piece to last many years. Would suggest to anyone looking for an outdoor wood-burning fire pit!

High quality product, highly recommended
The Morrison fire pit arrived in perfect condition 8 days after order. Shipped from a Home Depot store in Wisconsin. Took 30 minutes to unpack and assemble. Vinyl cover is a bit thin, but we are very well satisfied with the overall quality of the metalwork and tile. Used 3 times. Expect it to last years if vacuumed between uses.

Great Fire Pit
I love this fire pit! It finally got cold enough to use it. It does have a weird plastic-y smell when using for the first time. I haven't used it a second time, so I'm not sure if the odor is still there. The fire pit was well-packed, and wasn't damaged like other reviews had suggested. It looks great too!

Nice Size and Design, poor hardware and glued together tiles.
Product was a nice size and design. The hardware and holes did not match up perfectly and had to be bent to install. Also, some of the tiles were glued together after being previously broken... not cool.Over all, the product looks fine after using better hardware and replacing the tile.

Nice Fire Pit
This pit was a little expensive, but the quality is great! We’ve used it year after year and the only issue we’ve seen was a little surface rust. Spray painted it black; problem solved.

Metal too thin would not buy this
This was easy to put together. The frame seems pretty sturdy but the pan the fire is built in is very light gage steel. It will overheat and rust very quickly. So I’m going to add some heavier gage steel plates to prevent this.I would not purchase this had I known how thin the steel was.

The box was missing the screws, so I bought ...
The box was missing the screws, so I bought those on my own, then we noticed one side of the base had been drilled on the wrong side - so there was no way to put it together. Material felt cheap. There were instructions to call the manufacturer with any problems, but the manufacturer just turned around and sent us to Amazon. Days worth of hassle, and we ultimately returned it. Manufacturer did try to find "another side" to send to us (while telling us they didn't ordinarily do that), but my confidence in this product was shot. Returned.

It was all INTACT
The MORRISON Wood Burning Fire Pit arrived in GREAT condition & Looks beautiful in front of my living room window. I had NO PROBLEM putting it together by myself. I use it as a candle holder for now. It appears it came from Canada & was on sale originally when I first ordered it to which it got cancelled by someone other than myself - this means I should have money put back on my Amazon Account ... the person who delivered it was only allowed to bring it as far as the doorway inside - I said "thank you" - I was lucky enough to have a neighbour up the stairs across from me who OFFERED to help me bring it up ... I said "thank you" ... YES - I LOVE MY MORRISON WOOD BURNING FIRE PIT. Since then, the seller contacted me saying he would put $200 back onto my account to remove my "input" about all the cancellations - I suggested $250 as due to the increase I had to keep having someone take me to get more Amazon cards of which he agreed to pay me $250. I agreed only to "rephrase" what I said AFTER the money was put onto my account. Since I would not "remove" what I had said BEFORE the money was put back on my account, the seller backed out of the agreement. I guess that's the price of doing business - from my understanding, he would much rather have an unhappy customer so he can write off the loss on business income tax than to fullfilling his agreement to the customer ... There was nothing wrong with the product itself. What was wrong was the fact that seller increased the price of the product & cancelled my order twice AFTER I had ordered & paid for the product BEFORE the increase of that said product.
