It's not Ouzo, but I think You'll LOVE these candies
Ouzo! I love Ouzo!I grew up in a Greek community in ethnic Astoria NY. Mom used to have these in the house all the time. I wonder if they were the same Krinos brand? My wife "recognizes" the name, and just asked me if Krinos still makes Greek Halloumi Cheese. I don't have the heart to tell her that was Kronos, the cheese maker in Cyprus that she remembers. You see, the Greeks had a word for it but sometimes the words are too similar.But the only time I have had these candies in 55 years is in Greece and Greek Cyprus, and maybe upscale Greek restaurants. I have to confess, IF there are a lot sitting out at a restaurant, I grab a handful. Keep in mind I can palm a basketball. :) As a kid, I didn't like Licorice, Anise or Ouzo,...its a taste developed over my lifetime: Ouzo that is. I mean it is basically a Greek Grappa: STRONGMy wife says "the candy is expensive": I say "I really like them." Even so, they are disappearing whether or not I eat them. I Wonder why? :)The attractive container sits on our counter top: Really nice packaging and I don't mind if that cost me a little more. I mean, I'm Geek, so I want the to look nice on display...NO Siri, not GEEK! UG!! GEEK! No, it's "GREEK", that's better! … I'm proud to display these hard candies. The packaging is a shiny blue on foil looking stuff. It's not the traditional Blue and White, but it's halfway there and very attractive. When certain people visit us I have to admit I hide them. Some of my guy friends can also palm a basketball.High sugar content is my only complaint: 2.6 gm per piece!! So I don't have it too often because I am old, although sugar is not my friend, and who wants to exacerbate diabetes and possibly get gout. I'm not in favor of losing my toes, or worse, my foot.* Maybe someday Kronos,...err Krinos will make them sugar free?? Spiking them with a tad of alcohol might make them even better! I'd also like to have a chewy kind as chewing is one sensation and sucking is another.On Amazon there are discrepancies over how many candy pieces are in each container. I wish in general Amazon could check their listings/info and not extract info. from their reviewers. Manufacturer's have told me the descriptions are sometimes far different from what they wrote for Amazon. I guess Amazon depends on we reviewers to get the nfo straight, but IMHO, I disagree.Anyway, quite a quantity range too. If I recall, some said 50-65 pieces, another 75, and still another 130. I wonder if the 130 was total for two containers?? Maybe there are different size containers available. Who knows? And Sorry, I am not gonna count my 2 containers for you, :) ...other Reviewers have already done so. Maybe my wife will do it?? HONEY!!! GOD bless her, ...again.If I use the lesser quantity per container I of course get a higher cost per piece. I better not go further because I might change my mind about the purchase. Hmmm, Maybe I SHOULD count them!!For all y'all, don't worry about cents/piece, just enjoy them.(in case you really want to know, Spoiler Alert, SPOILER ALERT, I got a minimum of 3 cents each)The one downside is these delights are almost addictive. In addition, my wife says I am drinking more Ouzo these days. What does she know, huh? In case you don't know, Ouzo is smooth and silky straight up. In my opinion, its better than the French Pastis, (Pernod or Ricard are two popular brands) but I may be partial,.. but definitely not bigoted: Bien Sur!.Some say Ouzo tastes like the Italian Sambuca. Others say Arak from Lebanon. Differences: Ouzo is strong at 45% alcohol vs 40% Pastis. Another difference is that those others are not Greek. There are not that many Greeks around, so we Greeks need to stick together. OPA!Some may argue and say, hey, the alcohol changes to sugar so the end affect of drinking or sucking the candy is the same. Duh! Well then, you enjoy and have a nice day!!So that's everything I have to say. I have been sucking one now to give you an accurate description. But now I feel like a nice Ouzo. I think this time I'll have it on the rocks. It's so cool how the ice makes the liquor turn a Milky Way. Ah chocolate, one of my favorite subjects.Now where did my wife hide the Ouzo bottle.Drive Safely!Big Lou Gee*I wonder if Mr. Paul Manafort's foot was bandaged because of Gout? Probably the prison food,...but I digress again.}

Delicious!
I tried this candy at a Greek restaurant and they are amazing. I suffer from frequent indigestion and the anise in this candy relieves the symptoms. I recommend this product for the flavor and benefits!

Note to Seller
I noticed the outer layer of the candy is softening. That usually happens when the candy is not fresh. The small round candies I ate in Greece did not have that softening. Maybe this is a different type. I don't know.

if you like cinnamon candy, you'll love these
these cinnamon candies are simply amazing. A bit of a chocking hazard risk for kids if not careful because they are round shaped, but if worried you can crush them. They would make great crushed toppings on deserts. I will definitely be buying these again.

Great value
Found these for the first time at a Greek Restaurant and they were very expensive. These are exactly the same and 1/2 the cost. Have them in a dish and handy all the time. Really love the flavor.

You don’t know what you’re missing
If you haven’t tried these after dinner mints you don’t know what you’re missing the flavor is not overpowering and certainly gives you the cinnamon taste you enjoy. A friend turned me onto these and I haven’t been able to put them down ever since
