This was the perfect way to honor the loss of our beloved cat, Shay. When you lose a pet it's like losing a family member, and I was heartbroken when we had to put her down at 21 years old. The customizable plaque is a nice touch; I took this to a local trophy shop and they engraved it for around $5. Came with a very kind note and follow up e-mails from the manufacturer. On April 23 I lost my soon to be 15 year old cat Tiggy and I was looking for something to honor his memory and I saw this and pictures doesn't do it justice this is the best memorial I've ever seen it's heavy and the engraveable plate is awesome it turns the engraved name and date black so it shows up against the gold.
