what are the lumens on these bulbs? very mixed reviews

There's no official quote for lumens for several reasons. The main one is tbe fact output is much more battery dependent than with an LED. Secondly the output varies from bulb to bulb. And once Maglite say for example 160 lumens then customers will rightly hood them to it. As a very rough estimate for a 3 D CELL bulb at room temperature with fresh alkaline batteries (those factors can affect the output as well) it will produce around 120 lumens. The most powerful 6D Incandescent Maglite MagNum Star bulb is around 200 lumens. Anything more powerful incandescent wise wasn't via Mag Instruments and would have issues with heat dissipation amongst other things.
