Great read!
My husband and I both read this book, and liked it so much we bought it for all of the other guys in our family who have daughters. It will really make you think...and worry a little bit! Dr. Meeker has a very interesting perspective as a pediatrician and shares a lot of information that is really scary to think about, but also offers a lot of excellent advice for raising a daughter in this crazy world!

Good Practical Tips for Dads and Daughters
Good book filled with practical tips for building a relationship with your daughter. The daily format is helpful for making regular, small, relational investments in this relationship. It really helps to buy the book that this is based on -- that book helps put the daily tips and activities in context. My only complaint is that some of the activities are aimed at younger daughters. Mine is a teen-ager and some of the suggestions wouldn't work well at her age. For dads who need help going beyond inspiration and instruction to actual action, this is the book for you.

great book. This is a good book to get ...
great book. This is a good book to get if you're worried about your future relationship with your daughter. This should be the manual they give out at the hospital with your baby girl. I bought this for my husband who's been struggling to relate to his 11 yr old & even from him skimming through it - It's worked wonders. It will change your view of how to be a strong role model & helps you to remember the man you are today will be the type of man she will seek in her future for a husband. Would you be okay with your daughter marrying a man like you? leaves you really thinking. It also helps him to not take her pre-teen struggles so personally.

greatly needed perspective on the father daughter relationship
Strong Fathers, Strong Daughters by Meg Meeker gives much needed information and guidance for the father who desires to develop a better relationship with his daughter. This is a book I wish I had read when my daughters were young. It will help the father at any stage in the parenting process, including relationships with adult daughters. The author understands men and is very supportive and helpful on important issues.

This author is amazing
One of my husbands favorite books for parenting. The author has incredible knowledge and biblically sound. Everything we’ve read from her is great and this is no exception! Tangible activities to spice up interactions with daughters.

Great Guide For Fathers
I bought this book for my husband for father's day. It has great day to day tasks a dad can implement in his own life or his daughter's life to strengthen the father/daughter bond. The chapters are short and very doable. My husband isn't one for reading, but these chapters are well laid out and easy to follow. Anything by Dr. Meg Meeker is worth reading.

Not that good for divorced fathers. Very américain way of thinking. I was very disappointed by it all to be honest.

Like others I bought this thinking it was the main text but its not, its merely a companion guide. As a father to a 10 year old I found it useful reading and compared well to other father/daughter texts I have read. I got most of the way through the text but found myself closing and putting away the book when I was told I had to tell my daughter that God was real and I should instill this belief in my daughter. Faith is a very personal thing and I do not feel the author should be telling me what to teach my daughter. If she had said she was a person of faith and if you also identify as this then teach X, Y, Z I would have been more accepting. Sorry but I can't finish this text and will not be buying the main text. Your need to try and indoctrinate others to follow your own beliefs have diminished any positive benefits I had identified with in your writing.
