Fun Decoy w/ Great Eyes for Instant Defense!
Love the Falcons, I bought 2! Their eyes looks real and makes it more lifelike. I recently moved to a heavily wooded community that's also wildlife refuge certified. Needless to say, no one wants you "killing anything" here. New to the whole "woodland living", so far I've had flying squirrels, snakes, bears, birds, deer, coyotes, lots of bird nesting stuff, etc. These falcons are my favorite of all the decoys I've purchased (I also have an owl and a hawk). Per my wildlife pest guy I've had to hire for the flying squirrels in my home (uggg), be sure to do "regular rotation" so the critters don't get to comfortable with the decoy. I'm using metal L-brackets (painted the same color as the home) for mounting. The best part & for convenience, I glued magnets to the bottoms of each bird so when I rotate them I simply grab the bird and pop it on another bracket. Also, I put 2-3 brackets up in each general area, per bird, to change it up even more. They absolutely work. These just arrived at 4pm yesterday and I haven't seen one bird come close to my front area looking to build nests. My dog's not barking and I'm not cleaning up after them anymore. Hopefully, they will also help deter those flying squirrels too, although I hired a professional for that craziness. Great purchase, great deal.

Rod’s Got You Covered
This guy is a wonky bird, so just know that before you buy it; if you’re into perfection, he’s not for you. I’m talon you, though, he scared every darn bird away from my potted plants, and for cheap. They were real jerk birds, too; they’d yell at and scare my cat, so he didn’t get as much outside time as I wanted for him. They’d even wake us up early while they were having screaming matches on the balcony. In flew Rod. He reminds me a little of Rodney Dangerfield, so I just named him Rodney, Rod, for short. All he does is sit and stare at my plants, which was spooky enough to rid me of those noisy neighbors for good.

Cheap and fell apart
The stopper on the bottom of the falcon to hold in whatever you put inside of it to give it extra weight fell apart as soon as I unpacked the product!cheap and useless!

WORKS #
Unbelievable! Tried everything for years, short of shooting the nesting birds, suffered bird poop all over our boat and vehicles, hung the falcon from the eave, and no nesting pooping birds! NONE !A miracle !

Three Stars
Looks just like photo, however my problem ended up being a squirrel not birds. Did not deter squirrel.

DON'T BUY
Not worth the money. Don't buy. I bought this to put in my flower garden. It has completely faded and lost its color. It looks terrible. Very dissapointed in this item. Would not recommend. Would not buy again.

Great Fruit tree bird chaser
Owls and large hawk like decoys do not work, but these guys have kept the robins and sparrows out of my fruit trees.I think they look like sparrow hawks in which the Utah birds are scared to death. I have 4 of them. only move themwhen trees have been picked...I don't use nets anymore.

It's the stuff that daydreams are made of...makes a nice Maltese Falcon substitute!
A couple of friends had a 1940s 'film noir' wedding, and as part of my outfit (vintage suit and fedora) I wanted to bring a prop, and I saw this and thought the detailed sculpting and modeling on it would work out very well as a great reproduction of the Falcon - you CAN buy a movie perfect prop from a dealer in Hollywood, but they cost around $100 and that's a bit much for my needs. Once I received this, I used my propmaking experience to sand down and fill the seam lines along with the slot on the head that's there to hang a line onto, then a few undercoats of primers and other paints, then numerous overcoats of semi-gloss overcoat with buffing to resemble enameling, and voila! My own Maltese Falcon. It was a big hit at the wedding and wound up being used in a lot of photos. It's made of good, thick durable plastic with actually very nice modeling, detailing, and paint in it's original look. It also has a quarter-sized plug and hole in the base so you can put sand, rocks, or whatever inside to weight it. I'm sorry I can't judge it on it's normal purpose, but it worked out very well for me!
