I absolutely love my 2nd generation Apple Pencil that I got with my iPad Pro. Only problem with the pencil? It has a hard tip that makes a crazy loud tapping sound. I record videos for my classroom and the tapping was driving me and my students crazy!These tips covers DRASTICALLY reduce the loud tapping associated with writing on the iPad. And added bonus is that the tip cover causes a slight increase in friction as well. This helps it feel a tiny bit more like writing with a pen on paper, WITHOUT reducing the amazing pressure sensing technology of the pencil.Another added bonus is the small box that holds the extra tip covers. It’s small enough it easily fits in my iPad pouch and now I will have replacements ready if I ever accidentally lose one.Please notice that these are tip COVERS. they are not a full tip, just a slip-on cover. I am slightly worried that since they are just slipped on I may lose one. But I’ve been using it for about a week and I haven’t had any trouble.

Works great,very sensitive and quiet! No more noise of the hard tip of the pencil on the iPad screen. Why didn’t Apple manufacturer the pencils with this kind of tips? Highly recommended!

Application of this soft silicone cover to the tip of an Apple Pencil 1 or 2 (the covers fit both) increases the drag of the Pencil as it moves across the screen so that it is easier to control where lines go as you draw. I use mine in combination with a matte screen protector. I have not used the cover long enough to know how long they last, but you do get 4 covers with each order. The only slight negative is that the cover moves the point where the Pencil is drawing by about 1 millimetre, but I soon got familiar with where to place the tip of the Pencil on the screen and it was not an issue for me.

I needed something to mute the taps on the iPad from the pencil. This is perfect. It stays on at all times. The only time it fell off was because it wedged in the iPad case pencil holder. It protects as it should. The case they come in is perfect to store them since they’re small and can get lost easily.

The tip is extremely thin; it wore out within 2 days of use. I guess that is the reason there are 6 pieces for a low price. If I could, I would give it a -5 stars but the system does not allow it.

Great for protection especially since my kids are using my pencil for class during quarantine. While you are able to use the pencil while these are on it does not offer full pressure range so if your nib is wearing down from drawing it's better to buy a replacement nib and use these to protect it during use outside of art.

Works great to add drag to the Apple Pencil. Quiets the usage of the “tapping” on the iPad screen. Only downfall is it falls off easily and is lost easily which I expected upon ordering. Will eventually wear a hole in the tip needing to replace. Great they send several, perhaps knowing they are lost easily.

Absolutely love these. Comes with many extra tips but I am still on my first one after months of use.When first using my Apple Pencil the constant tapping did annoy me but not too much. I realized that getting a tip protector was an absolute must when in a quiet classroom my tapping was all you could hear and I began getting some annoyed looks.This tip protector really quiets the tapping to almost zero and I haven’t felt like it was going to fall off at all even though I constantly removed it out of boredom in class.The cute colors are definitely a plus. I’d recommend this 100%. You can’t go wrong.
