Works - board is printed in reverse -
The 8x8 is fine once you hook up your input pin from the arduino board to the DOUT (its backwards - on mine I could not use the DIN to program and only had one LED light up. After looking at the reviews on here I had to move the header pin to DOUT). I followed the how to guide on instructables Getting-Started-With-NeoPixle-WS2812-RGB-LED and instead of DIN on PIN 6 -- I hooked PIN 6 and attached it to DOUT. I can only give a 4 star review due to "Screen print on board being in reverse / backwards" . Thanks to other reviewers whom figured the PCB is actually backwards and you use the DOUT to get the programing going. Otherwise a decent board that uses the neoPixel codes for bright, fast moving LEDs.

Superbright matrix. A snap to use!
The media could not be loaded. OK. I have a ring (12 LED) WS2812 module. I wanted to see what a 8X8 could do.The only snag I had was soldering the DIN/DOUT, 5V and GND pins. My soldering iron is from the 1990s, and was too big. I ordered a new iron with a .2mm tip, and BOOM! The pins were soldered. Here is a demo of what the matrix can do. I am using a Wemos Mini, pins D6, GND, and 5V. It's only 20 seconds, but you can see how bright it is.I would recommend sticking a resistor in the circuit, to keep the LEDs from burning out prematurely.

DOUT and DIN reversed
Once you input the digital signal to DOUT, it works :)Edit: I'm seeing intermittent glitches after about 10 minutes of updating the panel 50 times a second (3.3v power). Unplugging and reconnecting the panel fixes the issue for another ~10m. Investigating...Edit 2: Using an Arduino Uno (5v power) did not fix the issue.

DOUT and DIN Reversed
Works great as soon as you reverse the DIN and DOUT labels on the silk screen. The 5V and GND labels are correct.

Great little LED square.
Great little light square. Easy to connect and control with wled. Good quality to cost ratio.

Worked perfectly
Worked perfectly for my application, a status panel driven off from a Raspberry Pi. Actually significantly brighter than I needed for my application. All LEDs individually addressable and capable of being set to any color.

Nice little 8x8 matrix
Compact and easy to connect and use. If I power it with the micro-USB connector and connect it to the VIN pin on my nodeMCU, I don't need any additional power supply.

Good way to learn programming
The media could not be loaded. I love these. I'm using Arduino Uno. Keeping the brightness down under 50 lets you run the grid off the USB power supply (<500mA). Using the NeoPixels and FastLED libraries, it's enjoyable.

Mostly great
As many other buyers have noted, and even the seller alluded to, mine arrived with the Digital In and Out (DIN/DOUT) reversed.Other than that, it is exactly as promised. Accepts programming well and shifts colors and gradient smoothly.

Works well but the inputs are reversed!
Nothing to complain about other than the fact that DIN and DOUT are actually reversed, so before pulling out your hair during wiring, flip it for a perfect board.

Useless!!
Wrong Leds installed on pcb. Useless!! I need to retrun them.
