very nice bedding that absorbs well and covers smell well. Does give off a bit of dust but nothing too concerning. Is very compact in bag so a little goes a long way. Very soft and does not change color dramatically when absorbing urine.

This bedding is so soft and perfect for our bunnies! Each time I change their potty one of our buns lays in it and sleeps, lol! It keeps the smell away for a few days until I change their potty.

One of the good products that Kaytee carries (there aren’t a lot tbh). My hamster went from some rougher bedding and when she stepped into this it was like she was walking on clouds. She immediately pranced around and then took a deep dive into the bedding and burrowed. She had never burrowed like that before! This bedding seems to hold a burrow rather well, especially if I add in a small amount of soft orchard grass in layers. The other positive is that it has no scent (scented bedding is horrible for hamsters! They have a strong sense of smell and essential oils and scented items can throw it off and irritate their respiratory systems) but still keeps odors at bay. It is also pure white so you can easily see their pee spots and spot clean. It comes VERY compacted-so when it says it will expand 3x it’s size they are telling the truth. You just need to break it up and fluff it when taking it out.

It seemed like great quality and it was it just got everywhere but the performance was really good and I didn't notice any smell to it. It was very easy to use and it could be used as bedding for most rodents.

We’ve been using this for our son’s hamster for almost 2 years and it’s really good for him. It’s compacted so there’s more once you pull it out and apart.
