Great Value
Great alternative to the name brand version. Fits perfectly on the cable and used the standard crimp tool available for this type of plug. Verified using a Cat6 tester for performance and did not disappoint. Got more pieces for less money.

So Far..... GREAT. Good Value and Accurate
These pass-through tips have worked well so far. I've used about a 30 or so and had no bad crimps.- - - At about $20, they seem to be a good value as well, especially handling both cat 5 and 6. - - And just FYI....for those just now considering using pass-throughs, I highly recommend them. But definitely get a crimper specifically for pass-through tips (I'm using a blue one by PETECHTOOL, btw). Such a combo can be a HUGE time-saver when you're doing jobs with lots of terminations (cleaning up a "rat's nest", new installs, etc).

Pass through connectors are a aha moment
If you haven’t already tried pass through connectors do! Seriously, I spent far too much time trying to perfect aligning an inch or so of wires to slide in (at once) into an ordinary connector. But why oh why was I bothering. When it’s so much easy to use a pass through connect and slide through one wire at a time. It really was one of those aha moments. I doubt I’ll ever spend countless moments struggling with ordinary connectors. I understand that some network professionals out there would dismiss this with the old ‘it’s really not that hard to use the ordinary connectors - I can do it in sub-second time’ well Mr Network professional us average joes don’t really have time to master a rarely used skill. So I would recommend just getting these pass through connectors and forget the pain.

The simplest way to sort wires when terminating cable
After a few failed attempts, I was able to nail down the best way to terminate cables with these plugs. Simple push all the way through, cut, then pull back a little bit so make sure all cables are separated. After that, it was a simple process to finish installing new wires.
