Yes, I'm a truffle lover to begin with. And, of course, only a truffle IS A truffle. But I gotta tell ya this delectable heaven sent powder is one heck of an addictive and more versital option. Utterly AMAZING on popcorn, in eggs, added to soups and sauces to layer flavors, veggies, PASTA...the list is endless (I think the only thing I haven't tried was sprinkling it on ice cream...although LOL). It is a bit salty, so I advise testing the waters first. But I just ordered my 9th and 10th bottle of the Truffle Zest...I wonder if there are 12 Step meetings for condiments?!? Just let go of your "only a TRUE truffle is a truffle" baggage and order it!! I'll see you at the meetings!

When I received my order, I immediately smelled truffle & thought wow this should be good if I can smell it before even opening! Come Thanksgiving & thought this would be great with the mashed potatoes. When I opened the box, the aroma was even stronger & soon discovered why...the cap was broken & spillage has occurred! I don't know if it broke during shipping or because it was packed in a single thin bubble wrap but needless to say, I believe the flavor has already started to dissipate due to not being able to tighten & therefore preserve any flavor.UPDATE: Today I received a replacement bottle and am happy to report that this time not only was the bottle bubble wrapped but it was also shipped in a bubble wrap envelope. I immediately opened the package and am happy to report that this bottle arrived intact and unbroken. I am very impressed that a) I was shipped a replacement right away, b) better packaging ensuring an unbroken bottle c) the aroma is great and d) the flavor is incredible and very earthy! I cannot wait to try it on many products.

Was somewhat dubious when I ordered it, but I thought, hey I'll give it a chance. Now I use it so much I'm getting spoiled. OK, so it's not exactly like real truffles, but it a close enough facsimile for everyday use. One hint is to not cook with it as this destroys the flavor, instead put it on after cooking as an enhancement, the heat from the cooked food is enough.

I just received this yesterday. I will tell you one thing, This is like a powder. A little will go a long way. It's also delicious. I sprinkled it on my wood fired Margarita Pizza once it finished cooking and it was amazing. I will definitely purchase again as long as the price doesn't go up. Two thumbs up!!!! Update. The price is out of control. Keeps going up and up. Getting to the point, it's not worth the price for mushroom dust.

Pizza, pasta, eggs, popcorn, EVERYTHING. I use to use black and white truffle oil for so many things (fries, popcorn, grilled cheese, mac and cheese...) but I am loving using this zest. My favorite item to use it on is white pizza (which if you've never had, you should try!! California Pizza Kitchen has a good version - spinach and creamy cheese/sauce). Anyhow, truffle zest on that = HEAVEN!! I will continue to order this and would highly recommend (if you like truffle)

This product is delicious! It is also a great addition to foods prepared for a low sodium diet. It contains 115 mg sodium per 1/4 teaspoon serving, but you only need a few sprinkles to liven up a serving's flavor. Would definitely buy this again!

Love it! I got this because I love truffles. Didn't know Oprah recommended it, but clearly, she has great taste, if she did. I make my own truffle salt with this and darkest pink Himalayan salt I can find (Amazon). This is excellent on popcorn, eggs, nearly any vegetable, brown rice, potatoes, meat, tofu, and adds an intriguing undefinable touch to homemade salad dressings. The price is very LOW when you consider how far a tiny bit goes. Look at the price on many spice blends that are half plain or Kosher salt and low cost herbs such as parsley. That makes this condiment amazingly low cost. If you are new to truffles, ease into this taste - start with a tiny pinch. Note: Every time I have guests and I've used a touch of truffle with Himalayan salt and good butter on my ordinary vegetables, at least one person raves over how well the beans/broccoli/etc taste. This stuff makes everyday vegetables positively sing. Occasionally, a touch of truffle on a good fresh summer vegetable natuirally ripened in the rain and sunshine, with perfectly fresh organic butter and the best salt available, I swear the vegetables sing the Hallelujah Chorus.

This is the truffle zest that Oprah recommends. If you love truffles, you must try this product. It is so delicious and a little goes a long way. It might be a little pricey, but it's going to last a long time. I'm on a super strict diet at the moment, but I put it on my egg whites and it was delicious. Can't wait to try it on a pasta down the road. Highly recommend!!!
