These belts might be good for a UTV as advertised in the description, but understand a wreck at 30 MPH or 40 MPH in a car or in a UTV will have the same forces and looking at how thin the mounting attachments are on these belts, I would not expect them to do well if needed in a collision at 30+ mph. I could not find any information on the packaging about what the rating (in pounds) is for breaking strength, but looking at how thin the mounts are and the type of fabric used, it is clearly nowhere near what a "normal" automotive belt is. They are probably suitable for holding you in place over bumpy terrain, but be aware the metal mounting brackets are about half as thick as a typical automotive quality seat belt. The description notes they are for golf carts and I can see that being a typical use for them. However putting them in anything that has the potential to go more than about 25 - 30 mph is in my opinion asking for trouble. They are cheap and they arrived quickly, but that is about the only good thing I can say about them. And as for the CCC certification, the best I can tell is that this certification means nothing in the US. This is something required for some automotive (and other) products used in China IF the item is imported from outside of China for use in China or if it is made in China for use in China. In the US, the standard that applies to a seat belt is: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 209, Seat belt assemblies, not the CCC.

These are nice belts for cheap, they look nice and the spring loaded release is awesome. These will look professional in my Hoopty and will make people "think" they will be safe riding in my jalopy. The spring loaded release mechanism will be an even bigger benefit when you are trying to exit the vehicle when it is upside down.

I bought this to replace damaged belt on an electric chair. The releace end us so short that it doesn't extend much beyound thé bottom of the chair and is hard to use. The one end could be shortned and the release end extended. The belt does not extend more than a few inches beyond the bottom of the seat and is diffulult to use.I do not recommend the use of this belt on an electric chair.

I'm reimagining my relationship with Amazon I have now received four things that were very shoddy craftsmanship and were not the correct item for example the rubber gloves I bought they say small they're humongous the other thing the seat belts that I bought the Buckle is broken they don't work the larger item I bought the bed the foldaway bed was so cheap and so shoddy the first night I slept on it it fell apart and then it fell on my foot and the seat belts that I bought do not work I do not have the time and I am not going to waste my time going to the post office to return these items I feel you should credit my account with all of these items that were of inadequate craftsmanship and unusable by me

Easy replacement for my missing center receiver on my 94 Jeep YJ. Quality is decent and for the price point you can’t beat it. I just removed the shoulder straps that were rotted and stock on my Jeep and used these instead. They come with all the hardware needed.

I really like these seat belts, however the adjustment doesn't seem to really stick well. We use these for our kids on our golf cart and by the end of a 30 minute leisurely ride, the belt strap has adjusted out by a few inches. This isn't super problematic for this machine, but if you were to consistently go fast it could be a problem.Other than that the fabric is good quality and the buckle works properly, though I wish it could lock so my younger son wouldn't be able to unhook it.

Dangerous! Cheap. These will kill you. If you're looking for appearance fine.They bring after 2 uses.

I needed new buckles for my truck. The installation was pretty easy.The problem is that the button on the buckles doesn’t want to work half the time. No matter how hard I push, it won’t unlatch. I think this is because the spring gets displaced after a few uses. Usually I can jiggle it around until it works.This may be because I’m using the original latch plate, but I wouldn’t think it’d matter. The buckle is only about five parts. I popped the plastic cover off, and placed everything back in order. It worked fine for a half dozen uses then stuck again. Still not sure if it’s completely the product or also my using the new buckle with a different latch plate.

Junk wont stay tight

Was looking for a pair of basic seat belts for a double seat on our mobility scooter. These worked great and the price was right.
