VERY Original, NOT fake..!
I was worried about being scammed with this Watch.. I wanted a good multitask go-with-all Watch, that I could use with a Suit and with some Jeans. THIS is my veredict.Since I'm one of those that investigate thouroughly before spending a lot of money on ONE item, I went to my local Victorinox Dealer and tried it. It felt good, very heavy, a treat for the eye.. so, I tried to remember THAT experience when mine came from Amazon.. I was amazed, it was beautiful..The watch itself came in a faux-leather snap-on presentation box, inside some sort of "pedestal", where the thick user's manual rests.. and ALL of this, inside another thick cap-on box, with the logo outside.. PERFECT gift for someone you REALLY love..! :)I've been wearing this timepiece for a week now, and it's wonderful.. people staring at my wrists, it makes me feel powerful (stupid, but true).. buy it, the BEST 250$ I've spended on Amazon so far..A few observations:1. The watch has a black dial, with silver cronographs.. it's NOT white like the picture, but for me this is even better! More elegant..2. Still haven't found the way to use the cronograph, really tricky and complicated, but that wasn't a major deal, since I didn't bought it for that reason. A few minutes on the Internet should do the trick..3. Genuine Sapphire Crystal, I've tried to scratch it with a nail.. nothing.. only Diamond or Sapphire can scratch this baby..4. A very wide steel band, DO NOT TRY to adjust it yourself.. pay a little to the dealer in your region to adjust it for you.. don't try to save a few dollars and try it yourself, you could damage it.. then, like a glove..5. The clasp is the cherry at the top.. very easy to seal, easier to detach.. when closed, seems like ther is no clasp.. classy Victorinox 10/10..

Highly recommend Victorinox Watches
After about 6 months researching chronographs (I know, overkill), I finally decided that my small budget for a Swiss watch would be well spent on this minimal, versatile Victorinox Army Officer's watch.I became fascinated by Swiss built watches and this was a large part of my research. Victorinox is new to the Swiss watch game. Other brands carry more value and the sky is the limit in terms of $$ you can spend but you don't have to be rich to wear a nice looking watch that won't break the bank. I've now had this watch since January 2014 & it's been great so far. I'm impressed by Victorinox. It's not a Rolex or an Omega, but who cares?! It looks great, it's of obvious quality, and I get lots of compliments about it.Perhaps I'll update this after more time but for now suffice it to say that I highly recommend this watch.

Purchased as a gift.
I'm not the end user of the watch. I bought it for my father for Christmas. For him, I gave it 5 stars because he has huge hands/wrists and the big case size looks good on him. He was impressed with the looks and thanked me over and over for it. Overall build quality is nice, but definitely not worth the suggested retail price of $675.00. The pushers move with a general sense of quality but the crown is not screw down. It's a good looking watch and good value when purchased for less than half of the MSRP.
