No this is grown in California. USA Product.

Q: How well and how long can it be stored?

My family has been using Cracked wheat for generations. I use it frequently for tabuli. It has been my experience that if you keep it stored in a cool dry place it will keep for months. Moisture is its enemy. Also make sure that you keep the package sealed as it is a favorite food for pests.

Q: Why the product I received has a different label and the wheat is not as yellow, darker color?

I'm sorry that I don't know the answer to your question; perhaps you simply received the wrong item. I would check to see if the item you received is also available through Amazon. If so, you probably just received the wrong item. Since returns are such a hassle, at least I hope that what they sent you is equally as tasty! :)

Hello Yea it is dry grain. I soak it in water for couple of hours before use it. Or maybe your recipe is different. Enjoy
