My use for this cable may be a little unusual. As soon as I got it, I found the midpoint and cut the cable in two (!), thus destroying the cable. However I needed to build a couple antennas for a software defined radio project. The advantage of this is that I know how the cable is constructed. In particular the outer conductor is a light braid covered with foil, a reasonable construction method.What I can say is this: the SMA connectors are sturdy and well-attached with crimp-style sleeve, and the sleeve is protected by heat-shrink or something like it. The cable is slender enough to pass an SMA wrench, if that matters to you (most SMA cables are, but some are not).The cable itself is a bit on the stiff side, so if you need any tight corners you're going to want something else. The "not pushing too hard" bending radius is about 2 inches (5 cm).

Excellent value for the money spent, and the cable seems to be pretty well put together with the connector attached at each end. I'm not giving it 5 stars as I don't know how well it will hold up outside in the sun and weather, but in a year I'll try to get back here to give a final report. I'm using the cable to connect an external roof-mount cell antenna on my roof to the cell booster inside---be sure you get the right connectors for your application since there is no universal anything when it comes to antennas, boosters, and cable.

I wanted to replace the cable from the rooftop antenna to the cell phone booster. I wanted a shorter cable than the one that came with the booster kit. This cable is just right, length wise and I can't tell any difference in signal performance. The shipping was prompt and the cable gets the job done.

I was using this to quickly troubleshoot something to a bad antenna. Worked perfectly and was affordable.

It is EXACTLY what I ordered. Most SDR gadgets come with (thin) RG-174 or something similar. Some folks may complain of loss at higher frequencies, but it doesn’t matter on a short run, say, from the dash to the roof of your car. I still prefer at least an RG58 cable (or larger) if possible. This is a high-quality cable, and I would recommend it to anybody!

This cable does not a high quality, high-coverage braided copper external conductor. It's a cheap cable - you probably shouldn't expect it to be amazing - but the product schematic displays a high-coverage shield. It doesn't have one, making it unsuitable for some sensitive radio work. Didn't discover this until I stripped the cable and couldn't return it.

I would have given it a 5 star if they would not have shipped the wrong cable. The replacement was right! Excellent quality!

Cable seems well made and well Shielded. Only one con. The cable is a little stiff to work with. But that should even out over time. A good product
